DEUUEAUGH is common reaction image/video on 4chan similar to Do Not Want . It depicts the commonly used (yet unnamed) “Blue Fish” cameo character in Spongebob Squarepants (who is sometimes believed to be Fred ) having an exaggerated response to Spongebob’s breath along with an exploitable sound. It’s usage began to skyrocket after it’s first upload to youtube in October 2007. The video is often used in Youtube Poops and is subject to several remixes.

Origins

The source of this footage can be seen in in the Spongebob Squarepants episode Something Smells were Spongebob prepares himself an Onion Ketchup Peanut Sundae for breakfast, resulting in ferociously bad breath. Unable to understand why he is being avoided, Patrick convinces him that it’s because he is ugly (Patrick has no nose, therefor cannot smell) Then, Patrick makes SpongeBob admit that he is ugly and proud of it. It works, and SpongeBob’s confidence grows, so they go to the movies. At the movies Spongebob tell the Blue Fish (Tom) that he hopes his “horrible ugliness” does not bother him. Tom’s reaction….

The surreal facial expression had brought much amusement because of it’s hideous deformity and the retching yell that came with it. This may be used a raging reaction of shock, excitement, anger, or most commonly disgust.
