Frédéric Molas, also known as Joueur Du Grenier or Mr. Grenier, is a french game-tester, such as the Angry Video Game Nerd. He is famous for his funny tests on YouTube. He only plays old video games, on several platforms. In his videos, he is often sitting on his sofa, playing games, and getting angry very easily.

Origin

Frédéric Molas is fond of Dragon Ball Z, Jurassic Park and Back To The Future. He owns several video game consoles (NES, Megadrive, Playstation, …) and plays in a room full of old games, mangas and posters. Most of the games in this room were gathered by Joueur Du Grenier’s friend, Sébastien Rassiat, the man on the left in the picture below.

Popularity

Even if JDG was criticized in the beginning about making the same kind of videos as the Angry Video Game Nerd, his popularity grew up very fast and reached about 31 000 000 views and 140 000 subscribers on YouTube so far. He met John Lasseter in San Francisco to promote Pixar movie Cars 2 in summer 2011.
