Rock my emotions meme is a series of YTPMV’s (Youtube Poop Music Videos) which are made with the song ‘Rock My Emotions’ by the furry DJ,Kitsune² who is known as well for the memes Avast your ass and also Rainbow Tylenol

The origins

The song Rock my emotions was released in January 12, 2009 in the album Squaredance , this album itself was release under the former label of VulpVibe Records, now known by the name LapFox Trax.

It was created by the multi talented music producer Renard Queenston from Canada under one of his many aliases, in this case, Kitsune². Renard is known mostly from his work John Freeman a remix of a popular Half-Life 2 Machinima called Half-Life: Full Life Consequences. Reaching over 200,000 views on the original video the remix became a success around the Machinima community.

The remix would be added to the finale of the series Free Man.

Memetic origins and spread

The spread of Renard’s material caught the best of the Youtube Poop creators taking a fond to it finding most of them suitable for YTPMV’s. Rock my emotions would be in no doubt a success.

The first creator that caught the attention of Rock My Emotion’s as a YTPMV source was MisterMild . Originally created a small side-project of playing around, the video Rock My Gun would in no time become a fad and rise to be the most popular of the Rock my emotions videos reaching 83,458 views (as of February 2011) and getting various variants
