This meme’s origin is difficult to pin point but it’s popularity is growing. The post of an image with a hot girl would generally receive comments directed towards the female.

Not in this meme’s case. Even the hottest, sexiest, most beautiful pictures of women will return comments about the furniture, flooring, and other background nuances.

Comments can range from witty to dull and repetitive but the fact remains the same that there is no reference to the sexy seductress perfectly framed center shot. The comment “wait theres a girl in this picture?” just about sums it up.

This meme is not only limited to comments. It can also extend to real life experiences caught in photos. These photos generally depict a male ignoring an extremely sexy situation in exchange for something most males would feel is less important. Commonly the males focus will be on things such as television or video games.
