![Relatively new « Reply #729 on: September 18, 2014, 11:00 PM » So...I'm just throw this out there I'll admit that I've haven't the time/energy/inclination to do any deep research into this whole Quinn/Gamergate mess (which also means I'm staying out of the argument as well) but I've read enough to know I simply don't care either way But is anyone else a little disappointed that Cracked have gotten involved in this whole thing in the first place? Did they really have to give Zoe (another) platform to fuel this shitstorm? I'm not saying she shouldn't be speaking out in self-defense, she's more than entitled to, just as I'm entitled to shrug my shoulders and go download some p--- instead of getting emotionally invested in this (which ALOT of people are doing for reasons I can't comprehend) If life gives you lemons...you should It's just click bait, right? We're adults here, we can be honest. 1.1 million views and 11,000 comments in 3 days (considering probably make most articles are lucky to break 500,000 views and 1k comments over the space of 4+ years) is an insane amount of traffic some life changes... and I can't help but feel that whole thing is a blatant and deliberate hunt for attention. And yeah, I know that sites like this rely on ads to bring in money, and that's why we put up with the pop-up ads, and the border ads, and the whole splitting- a-5-point-article-into-5-page-article-even-though-the-entire-article-fits-easily-into-2-pages-thing, so l'll put up with that that stuff, because I like Cracked. Hell, maybe even love it. (Or maybe l just love Soren, I don't know, it's complicated, alright? DON'T YOU JUDGE ME DAMMIT!) My point is, I'm disappointed in you Cracked.
