It seems like Gawker is being attacked from all sides right now. GamerGate has cost them 7 digits and is continuing their campaign against them, they're in the middle of a lawsuit with Hogan that will ruin them financially if they lose, and they recently released a story which, not only turned the internet against them, but also caused an internal disagreement between Denton and the Gawker Staff (including Totillo) about taking down the story.
