Amazon's new Lord of the Rings series is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. It's been in the works forever, and all fans are both terrified and excited to see how it turns out. Many of us aren't expecting a lot from the series, since it's being produced by a company that's under a lot of controversy lately, and also because it feels like a mistake to make another new installment from within the universe we all know and love. We all know how The Hobbit turned out, after all.
We also have mixed feelings about the trailer, which is very short and leaves us with way more questions than we wanted to have at this point. We still know next to nothing about the new series, aside from the fact that it's a prequel and costs an astronomical amount of money.
