These Nuggets Ain't Ready is a series of memes based on the opening of KSI's song "Adam's Apple" that misinterpret the line, "These ni--as ain't ready," as, "These nuggets ain't ready," referring to chicken nuggets. The memes were popularized on TikTok and Instagram Reels throughout March 2026, including edits, lip dubs and Accuracy Reenactments.

Origin

On September 8th, 2017, KSI released the music video for the song "Adam's Apple," featuring Alesa, on YouTube,^[1] garnering over 33 million views in nine years. At the start of the video, KSI laughs and says, "These ni--as ain't ready," in a growling tone.

On March 14th, 2026, TikToker^[2] @wurdihdek posted a video of a tray of chicken nuggets set to the intro of the song with the overlaid caption reading, "These nuggets ain't ready," garnering over 278,000 views in two weeks. This is the earliest known meme to reinterprate the line as "these nuggets ain't ready."

Memes further misinterpreting the line as "these nuggets ain't ready" were popularized throughout March 2026 as the meme spread.

On March 23rd, 2026, TikToker^[3] @mymaximusmax posted a version of the meme that makes it appear as if KSI is standing outside of a microwave, captioned, "KSI gets upset that his nuggets are not ready to eat," garnering over 12 million views in four days.

The meme was reuploaded by Instagram^[4] user deebellz_, gaining over 83,000 likes in the same span of time.

On March 26th, TikToker^[5] @idota_ posted a version of the meme using a clip from another KSI music video, garnering over 1.5 million views in a day.

Later that day, TikToker^[6] @hoopervalley8 posted an accuracy reenactment video that references the meme, garnering over 239,000 views in a day.
