If you feel like you're behind when it comes to modern humor, that's perfectly normal. Most of us are, especially when modern humor looks like, well, this. Zoomer humor is weird and wonderful, and it often relies on a style of meme-making known as deep frying. Deep frying is a method of visually "enhancing" a meme by dunking it in layer after layer of horrible photo editing effects. It's supposed to insert some ironic emphasis into the image, and it certainly achieves its goal.

Despite having very little inherent meaning, deep-fried memes contain just enough stupidity and humor to get you laughing for no apparent reason.
