We may be getting old, but SpongeBob memes aren't. While the more popular formats (Mocking SpongeBob, for example) are always popping up again and again, there are many other moments from the show that only true fans will recognize enough to create uniquely relatable memes. After all, we all had basically the same childhoods, staying up past our bedtimes on weekends watching SpongeBob episodes in the dark.

We've all grown into basically the same people, since we're all constantly referencing SpongeBob quotes in real life that everyone thankfully understands.
