The news about iconic actor Matthew Perry's death last Saturday (10/28) shocked the internet after representatives of the actor declared he was found in a bathtub, allegedly drowned.
Perry was not only a great actor, but he also was featured in a number of memes on the internet over the decade. More specifically, the Chandler Bing Hugging a Record meme, which started to be used in several montages dating back to March 2014 and is still one of the favorite images to be photoshopped nowadays.
Actually, the original image of the meme was captured in November 1996, on episode six of the third season of Friends. At the very end of the episode, titled "The One With the Giant Poking Device," Chandler Bing hugs a Lionel Richie album while singing with his eyes closed (shown below).
