Rep. Mark Meadows Accidentally Does A Perfect Sitcom Introduction On C-SPAN
Sometimes it sure feels like America is a sitcom that's gone off the rails, and nowhere was that more apparent than yesterday, when North Carolina Republican Mark Meadows was one the phone, noticed he was on C-SPAN, and gave a big smile.

If you've watched Too Many Cooks or any 80s sitcom, you recognize this move. The business, the turn, the smile to the camera: it's the classic way sitcoms used to introduce characters in the opening credits. Republican senior adviser Matt Whitlock noticed this, and got to work, editing the clip with various 80s TV show theme songs that are all-too-fitting. Cheers to you, Whitlock.
