Sonic's Redesign Inspires Memes About The Hedgehog's Glow-up

Yesterday the second trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog dropped, and unbelievably, everyone seemed pretty happy with it! Such a day didn't seem possible last April when the first trailer dropped and showcased the character's original design, a weirdly human-looking blue hedgehog with insane human teeth. Let's just say the improvement is instantly noticeable and welcome.

Of course, no pop culture event of this magnitude can pass without a massive outpouring of memes, and fans were quick to isolate tons of moments from yesterdays trailer to create new meme formats, including How Are You Not Dead? While the trailer provided templates amenable to any situation, many of the memes related to the trailer were made simply in celebration of Sonic no longer looking like an unholy hellspawn.
