Twitter Cannot Decide Which Hashtag To Use For The Next American Civil War
In a set of tweets that sadly had nothing to do about Kanye West's new album last night, President Trump addressed a lot of things that were bothering him. With pressure from an ongoing impeachment investigation, the president directed a lot of thoughts towards Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Fox & Friends, the Whistleblower, and witch hunts.
However, it was one tweet in particular that set Twitter ablaze. Quoting American Pastor Robert Robert Jeffress from Fox News, President Trump warned that the nation may enter into another Civil War should he be impeached. Soon the hashtags #CivilWar2, #CivilWarSignup, #CivilWarPotLuck, and #TrumpCivilWarLetters took flight, and a nation began mocking a potentially catastrophic event the only way it could.

It's actually quite tragic that Trump will not be able to participate in his own Civil War – due to bone spurs pic.twitter.com/YUEm4MGHkt— Sabrina McDaniel (@Sabrina_McDa) September 30, 2019

Soon Twitter users began to discuss what food they would be bringing to a #CivilWarPotluck.
Since this is America, I think I'll bring a flag cake to the #CivilWarPotLuck. Anyone want me to make baked beans too? Extra bacon just for the occasion!! #CivilWarSignup pic.twitter.com/pzr3brRUTm

Uniforms were also discussed and chosen.

Luckily, friends from afar agreed to help.

As a Brit, I shall be honoured to bring tea, proper tea. If we're in for the long haul, I shall also bring biscuits #CivilWarSignup pic.twitter.com/D0k5Q0N72g

Then users pictured what type of letters the president would send using the hashtag #TrumpCivilWarLetters.

While many appreciated the jokes being made, others reflected on the dangerous nature of the subject matter of another Civil War.
I understand the fun being had with #CivilWarSignup. But there are real world consequences from people out there who aren’t taking Trump’s tweet as a joke, but as a call-to-action. We can imagine who their targets would be. Please keep in mind. https://t.co/mRr6LSBNVb

Can’t make a cute joke about #CivilWarSignup because I’m too busy worrying about the thousands of independent militias filled with angry white men who have been training and eager for a reason to fight.
This dude continues to incite violence and the shit is scary.— Luna Malbroux (@LunaisAmerica) September 30, 2019
And others suggested to not take the president's words so seriously.

It's all projection.
The left went nuts when Trump suggested he might not accept the result of the election.
These same people then spent the next 3 years refusing to accept the result of the election.#CivilWarSignup #CivilWar2— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) September 30, 2019
At least the one thing we can all agree on is just how good that flag cake looks.
