It would appear that ghosts love to photobomb our pictures. Whether you believe in them or not, you can agree these images are kind of creepy. Sometimes, they're more than just a little terrifying, and we're hoping we never run into something like this in real life. Hopefully, there's just someone with some serious image editing software talent behind each of these, and nothing more. But since we're approaching Halloween, you could theorize that something else is behind them, if you feel in the spirit of the season.

Below is a collection of some of the wildest and scariest images submitted to the subreddit /r/Ghosts where people swear they have seen a ghost and that their photos are 100% real. But are they? Who's to say? Some look pretty questionable and others are reasonably convincing to any skeptic out there. Take a look for yourself, and you can be the judge. We hope you've had a lovely Spooktober
