Popular political streamer Destiny is facing a massive backlash online as allegations that the streamer has been leaking explicit images of others without consent have surfaced.

What are these allegations, who has been threatening to sue Destiny, and how has Destiny's community and his collaborators reacted to these developments? Learn all there is to know in our explainer.

What Are The Allegations Against Destiny?

The revenge porn allegations against Destiny primarily revolve around claims made by Puerto Rican-American streamer Pxie, who on January 20th, 2025, made public accusations that Destiny shared intimate images she sent him five years ago with a 19-year-old woman on Discord from which they spread further online into the internet proper, allegedly after the woman's boyfriend accessed her account.

In a detailed Substack post, Pxie, who collaborated with Destiny multiple times in the past between 2019 and 2023 and who made guest appearances on his streams, wrote that she would be filing a lawsuit against the streamer.

In her post, Pxie shared three screenshots of messages she claims Destiny sent her following the leak in which he apologized for the images being leaked and downplayed their presumed impact on Pxie's life. One message, sent on December 12th, purportedly shows Destiny offering money to Pxie as a way of compensation.

Soon after Pxie came forward with her allegations, another streamer by the name of Chaeiry wrote that she had learned that Destiny allegedly took an intimate audio recording of her in September 2023 and later shared it, both of which were done without her consent.

Who Filed A Lawsuit Against Destiny?

On January 20th, 2025, streamer Pxie announced that she would be filing a lawsuit against Destiny, suing him for violating U.S. Federal Code, 15 U.S.C. § 6851, Civil action relating to disclosure of intimate images and for Publication of Private Facts in Florida. As of January 22nd, 2025, the lawsuit had not yet been officially filed.

How Did Destiny React To The Allegations?

On January 20th, 2025, Destiny made a post in his subreddit /r/Destiny in which he addressed the accusations put forth by Pxie.

In his post, Destiny wrote that the "leak happened without his knowledge, consent, or authorization" but didn't deny sending the images to a third party. Destiny wrote that due to the litigation process involving multiple parties, it was unlikely he would be able to answer questions until the pending litigation had been resolved.

Destiny also provided additional screenshots of Discord conversations, with a December 11th message revealing that Pixie considered committing suicide, with Destiny attempting to reassure her that "things die out surprisingly fast" and advising her to take legal action against him, writing that there were options for her to keep her name private.

He also addressed Pxie's accusation that he "used a proxy to widely distribute material while claiming deniability," denying it and calling it "extremely hurtful.

How Did People Online React To The Allegations?

The lawsuit against Destiny became a viral subject of online discussions in late January 2025, with users posting and sharing their opinions on the matter. In their posts, many users expressed dissatisfaction with the response provided by Destiny and called upon his frequent collaborators to cut ties with the streamer.

Memes referencing the controversy have also been widely circulated on X / Twitter in the days following Pxie's allegations.
