Related Explainer: Is Streamer Destiny Getting Sued Over Leaking Explicit Images? Revenge Porn Allegations Explained

Overview

Destiny Revenge Porn Lawsuit refers to a revenge porn lawsuit filed against streamer Destiny over an alleged non-consensual leak of sexually explicit images done by the streamer in a private conversation on Discord in November 2024, which resulted in said images spreading online further. The lawsuit, filed in January 2025, attracted public attention to the leak and Destiny's response to it, putting the streamer under scrutiny online. Following the lawsuit, another woman made allegations against the streamer, accusing him of sharing sexual audio recordings of her without her consent.

Background

On November 19th, 2024, streamer Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, better known as Destiny, allegedly leaked sexually explicit images of Twitch streamer Pxie, with whom he collaborated in the past, in a private Discord conversation with a 19-year-old woman nicknamed "Rose." The leaked images were then spread further online after Rose's Discord account was accessed by her boyfriend.

In December 2024, rumors about Destiny leaking "revenge porn" started being circulated online. On December 24th, 2024, Destiny's former wife Melina Goransson made vague remarks about "things done to her without consent" during a livestream.[1]

On January 4th, 2025, X[2] user @itmefairyqueen made allegations against Destiny, accusing him of sharing explicit images "of community members & [his former wife] Melian Goransson without consent." In her post, @itmefairyqueen implied that the controversy surrounding Destiny's leaked explicit video with a man rumored to be Nick Fuentes was promoted by the streamer's fanbase and frequent collaborators in December 2024 to avoid addressing the revenge porn rumors.

On January 20th, 2025, Twitch streamer Pxie (@pxielovee) announced[3] that she would be filing a lawsuit against Destiny over him non-consensually sharing explicit images of her online.

On that day, Pxie made a Substack[4] post providing her side of the story. In the post, Pxie accused Destiny of sharing private images of her which she sent to him five years ago, when she was 19 years old, with a 19-year-old "e-girl Discord kitten" from where they were further spread online. Pxie accused Destiny of using the woman as a proxy while intentionally distributing the explicit images and claiming deniability.

In the post, Pxie provided three screenshots of her Discord conversations with Destiny following the supposed leak, which took place on November 29th and December 12th. In the provided screenshots, Destiny wrote that "there's literally zero excuse" and that "he's super sorry," downplaying the possible impact of the leak on Pxie's life, and offered money to Pxie to cover her bills or as general financial help (Discord messaged dated December 12th, 2024, shown below).

Further Accusations

On January 21st, 2025, Pxie wrote on X[5] that she received "countless messages" from women who reported receiving pornographic content from Destiny, which they believed wasn't made or sent with consent.

Pxie writes about being reached out by women who received explicit content from Destiny.

On January 20th, 2025, X[6] user @itschaeiry accused Destiny of leaking an intimate audio of her taken in September 2023, which was recorded with @itschaeiry's consent. In a follow-up post (shown below), @itschaeriy wrote she had been blocked by Destiny and that she would be pressing charges against the streamer.

Destiny's Response

On January 20th, 2025, Destiny posted his response to the allegations put against him by Pxie on the /r/Destiny subreddit (opening part shown below). In his post, Destiny wrote that the "leak happened without his knowledge, consent, or authorization" but didn't deny sending the images to a third party. Destiny wrote that due to the litigation process involving multiple parties, it was unlikely he would be able to answer questions until the pending litigation had been resolved.

In the post, Destiny provided additional screenshots of Discord conversations, with a December 11th message revealing that Pixie considered committing suicide, with Destiny attempting to reassure her that "things die out surprisingly fast" and advising her to take legal action against him, writing that there were options for her to keep her name private.

Destiny wrote that on December 13th Pxie unfriended him on Discord and that third parties said that the point of any financial compensation would be to "punish" Destiny. He also addressed the accusation that he "used a proxy to widely distribute material while claiming deniability," denying it and calling it "extremely hurtful."

Other Responses

On January 21st, 2025, Destiny's subreddit[7] moderation team issued a statement, announcing that the subreddit will be limited to strictly politics and online memes, excluding any conversations about Destiny himself, the leaks or pending litigations.

Also on January 21st, notsoErudite, Destiny's co-host on Bridges, a political podcast, issued[8] a statement in which she criticized Destiny's approach to the situation, wrote that she "never defended, supported, or minimized Steven's sharing of Pxie's intimate images" and announced that podcast releases had been paused (full response shown below).

The lawsuit against Destiny became a viral subject of online discussions in late January 2025, with users posting memes and their opinions on the matter.

For example, on January 21st, 2025, X[9] user @inbred_halfwit wrote that memes painting Destiny as a sex addict were detrimental to the proper resolution of the ongoing situation, with the post (shown below) garnering over 480 likes in one day.

Post arguing that memes about Destiny being a gooner downplay the seriousness of the situation around the lawsuit against him.

On January 21st, 2025, X[10] user @nicholasdeorio posted a Breaking Bad meme about the controversy that received over 30 reposts and 1,000 likes in one day (shown below).
