It seems like Twitch streamers have to keep finding ever more ingenious ways to evade the site's content moderation policies. The site typically doesn't allow streamers to post sexually suggestive content, but many streamers manage to evade this policy by wearing swimsuits in indoor inflatable paddle pools instead of lingerie. The debacle got to the point where Twitch had to create a new tag just for swimsuit and beach content.

But Twitch users continue to try and push the envelope in a bid to shock viewers and grab more eyeballs. One such streamer is Morgpie, a cosplay artist and Onlyfans model who went viral recently for streaming topless.

Here's how she and several other streamers manage to bypass Twitch's content policies with literally no clothes on.

Who Is Morgpie And Why Did They Get Banned From Twitch?

Morgpie is an OnlyFans model who has been streaming on Twitch since November 2020, amassing an audience of over 200,000 followers by December 2023. On December 7th, she went viral on social media after clips of her latest stream were reposted from her Twitch channel to X and Reddit. The stream showed Morpie bathed in a pink light, her shoulders bare and her clavicle exposed.

The visual, which was meant to show that she was naked without actually showing any body parts that might set off Twitch's content filters, was still jarring enough for people to ask, "Is this allowed?"

Many Twitch and X users joked about the platform turning a blind eye to the most egregious "Titty Streamers" when it benefits them, while others parodied the stream format using their own hairy chests. As for Morgpie herself, her account was swiftly banned following all the backlash.

What Does 'Topless Meta' Mean?

A 'meta' on Twitch is generally understood to mean a genre or style of video, and the "Topless Meta" is how people described this new trend that sparked off in 2023. In fact, Morgpie wasn't even the first person to participate in the trend; Asmongold claims to have encouraged streamer @asianbunnyx to try out the trend first, an idea that was subsequently picked up by streamer @devonjenelle.

The trend quickly gained traction on Twitch, with iShowSpeed testing the limits of his Twitch reinstatement by going in the nude with a carefully angled camera on December 10th.
