In the music video for their song "EVIL EMPIRE," the duo's antics have earned various memes surfacing en masse on TikTok. Greenscreen templates from CapCut are being used, blending into the platform's current hivemind of brain rot.

Who Is Lil Mabu?

Lil Mabu is an up-and-coming drill rapper from New York City who earned viral acclaim last year when many of his videos went viral on TikTok. His real name is Matthew Peter DeLuca and started making music in 2019. His first hit was the song "Demon Time," which was released in 2021.




Who Is DD Osama?

DD Osama is a 17-year-old rapper who is also from New York. His real name is David DeShaun Reyes and many people know him across the world because of the death of his younger brother nicknamed Notti Osama. The infamous song "Notti Boppin'" is about his brother's gruesome passing. He was only 14 at the time.

DD's made music with Mabu as well as other more established figures in rap like Lil Durk and Lil Baby.

What's The 'Quick DD Hit 'Em With A Scream' Meme?

The meme about DD's scream comes from his and Mabu's latest music video for their song "EVIL EMPIRE." The highly choreographed and edited video shows the duo fighting off zombies amongst stacks of shipping containers.

At one point, Mabu says, "Quick, DD hit 'em with a scream!" DD drinks a chug jug-like liquid and then lets out a sonic boom.
