Reports of underground rapper Wifiskeleton's sudden passing are spreading online right now, and coincidentally, so is a viral parody of his song, "Nope Your Too Late I Already Died."

The parody song, titled "Nope You’re Too Late I’m Already Dad," is going viral for its catchy lyrics, "If you see me out in Quahog say hi." and inspiring covers, memes and edits.

But who made the parody song, and what exactly is it all about? Here's what you need to know.

What Is The 'If You See Me Out In Quahog' Song?

Back in October 2024, musical artist Wifiskeleton released the song "Nope Your Too Late I Already Died," which gained over 3.5 million views in a mere four months after it was uploaded to YouTube.

On May 1st, 2025, TikToker @rexboxlive, also known as Rex Lengyel, posted a clip from a parody of the song in which he sings about life in Quahog in the voice of Family Guy character Peter Griffin.

The short video garnered over 4.8 million views in just under a week as the lyrics, "If you see me out in Quahog, say hi," got stuck in everyone's heads.

A full version of the song, titled "Nope You’re Too Late I’m Already Dad," which features verses from other cartoon dads like Bob Belcher of Bob's Burgers and Homer Simpson of The Simpsons, was released on YouTube a few days later.

In what seems to be a pure coincidence, on May 6th, tragic reports that Wifiskeleton had suddenly passed away started spreading online, with some suspecting that he had taken his own life.

How Is 'If You See Me Out In Quahog' Used In Memes?

Peter Griffin's portion of the song went viral on TikTok following its May 1st release. Since then, the original sound has been used over 4,000 times in a variety of ways.

Some of the most viral examples are lyric videos that show a subject dancing over the song and compilation videos that set it to various Family Guy clips and footage.

The song is also inspiring covers as it spreads, in which musicians take on the task of performing the song in a new style or genre. Some TikTokers are also trying to turn abbreviations of the song's lyrics into ironic slang terms, possibly as a nod to the "Gurt: Yo" meme.
