In more contemporary years, it was DeviantArt user TTeBiZaRRo who posted art depicting a Snoopy variant on September 12th, 2008, showing a version of the beagle with a gnarly overbite.

But the first discovered "Esnupi" meme part of the 2024 "Esnupicore" trend was posted by Twitter user @gir1genius on August 4th, 2023, with a picture of a snoozing "Esnupi" gathering over 27,000 likes in a year.

What Is 'Esnupicore' and How Did 'Esnupi' Become A Meme?

Twitter user @gir1genius posted several memes about "Esnupi" in late 2023, going viral for many of them. They inspired over internet users to post their own Esnupi memes, including @nicgogh, who posted photos of her Snoopy plushie, writing, "esnupi went camping to death valley this weekend 🚗🌄⛺️."

Meanwhile, @snoopyzito wrote, "calling snoopy esnupi because I know him like that.




More imaginative Esnupi memes began making the rounds in 2024, with X user @tortadefrango67 tweeting out a Kratos Mispronouncing In Spanish meme featuring Esnupi and raking in 100,000 likes in a week.
