Welcome to the Weekend Roundup, where all the big memes from the weekend are rounded up and examined more closely. This weekend was a bit of a hodge-podge, with very little connecting the sources of the big weekend memes. The first big meme of the weekend was from the game Deltarune having it's second chapter release, adding a lot more story and content to the game, as well as meme-able moments. The second instance was the throwaway line said by Jacob in the movie Twilight: New Moon, which makes the last one the SpongeBob two-panel meme How Do We Tell Him?

Deltarune

Deltarune is the sequel to the hit game Undertale created by Toby Fox. The game had it's first major content release in two years, chapter 2, which introduced a lot of new content, secrets, and characters that were ripe for making into memes. Throughout the weekend many memes were being shared within the community, with some slight spoilers being included.

Where The Hell Have You Been, Loca?

Where The Hell Have You Been, Loca? is a throwaway line said by Jacob towards Bella within the movie Twilight: New Moon. This line stayed within the franchise for years until it got a quick resurgence recently, leading to a lot more memes being made about it.

How do We Tell Him?

How Do We Tell Him? is a new SpongeBob meme template that comes from one of the most memorable and meme'd episodes: the exploding pie one. The meme is Squidward dismayed that SpongeBob doesn't know that something really bad is about to happen, which would ruin the good time he is having. This meme is used in much the same context, where you will have someone learning about a new thing, with the meme creator aware that something bad happens later on inside the thing, such as GoT Season Eight.
