This past weekend, we've had some interesting memes crop up. There was yet another variant of Wojak called Twinkjak, another Wojak comic by the name of Thank You For Changing My Life and Sus Jerma rounding off the last breakout meme. This will mark the first time that Wojak has had two offshoots in the same meme roundup, which definitely cements its place as the current leader in memes. Right now, it feels like a month can't go by without at least one new Wojak joining the expanding meme family tree … so here we are again.

Twinkjak

Twinkjak is a version of Wojak that is, characteristically, a twink. This would mean that he is an effeminate or gay young male with lithe features and interests. The hoodie on Twinkjak can be changed to represent different things, such as countries, adding a secondary layer to a Twinkjak meme. While not disrespectful on the surface, the Twinkjak meme has been used to ridicule or make fun of countries and ideas, like Sweden. Overall, despite being mostly for negative connotations, being a Wojak offshoot gives Twinkjak a good chance of staying around for a little while, so expect to see it for a bit.

Sus Jerma

Sus Jerma is a meme based around edited images from Twitch streamer Jerma985. It's been a while since a streamer has had a photo of them become a meme, and especially a meme that didn't start out as a Twitch emote first. The meme has been used in multiple ways, either being compared to another image, such as a person or fictional character making a similarly creepy expression, or as a snowclone with text put above and below the image.

Thank You For Changing My Life

Whereas Twinkjak was a gay male offshoot of Wojak, this meme is a new take that uses Trad Girl. In these meme scenarios, Trad Girl is thanking something for having a positive influence on her life, changing it for the better. In each instance, however, it is shown that the object of the meme is not really something important, often said back in a disparaging tone. These memes can be used in a callout-style way, where it calls out things that are considered basic. This style of post has a lot of versatility and has many ways to keep itself relevant for the next few months if the time and effort are put in by meme creators. Recently, this has been seen through an effort to make the meme more versatile by including Yes Chad and other Wojaks.
