The original webcomic shows a gamer boy and arrows pointing to the different characteristics of his being. However, the original comic also includes a girl labeled "child gf." Although a tad sus, let's just ignore it for now and chalk it up to (hopefully) satire.

The original meme was posted by Twitter / X user @WholesomeOrenji on Friday. The artist, who's grown a following for lewd content, portrays in this recent piece a starter pack for a male gamer.

Shown wearing cargo shorts and a graphic t-shirt, the cultural commentary is sharp, as he seems over-confident while being so cringe.

Plus, a female character is also shown next to him, labeled, "child gf." Yikes… Let's just hope this comic's loli aspect is purely satirical, aimed akin to criticisms of Discord Kitten cringe.

Since the image went viral, users on X have started a redraw trend in which they follow the visual template of the comic to sow the anatomies of other people, characters and personality types. By using MS Paint, Photoshop and other photo-editing softwares, artists can exploit the meme template for their own jokes.

Plain and simple, "Anatomy of a Gamer" is controversial because it jokes about having a "child gf." On the internet, there are many jokes about Minecraft YouTubers and Discord Mods being creepy groomers whose relationship with loli content is disappointing. So, yeah, the original comic, and many of the redraws, could be perceived as obvious satire, poking fun at the gamer stereotype.

But, the original creator of the meme, as well as many of the people adding to the trend, are flirting with actually explicit content that sexualizes the "child gf" character.

The bottom line is, having an eye for irony and satire is important when understanding the importance of comedy and memes, but gross loli fan art is gross loli fan art at the end of the day.
