Evidence of a strange, forgotten '90s video game has been flooding YouTube, with gamers storming forums to ask: does anyone actually remember The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK, released exclusively for Dango consoles back in the 90s?

Posters of its grinning, bald hero soaring heroically through the air have taken over X and 4chan, while grainy "gameplay" videos keep popping up on YouTube. Some swear they played it as kids, but others are convinced it's an elaborate troll. Here's a crack at unraveling the mystery of The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK.

Where Did Discussions About 'The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK' Originate?

For all intents and purposes The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK first appeared online on November 29th, 2024, when YouTuber Jada uploaded videos of the game's supposed gameplay, featuring surreal levels and a synth-heavy soundtrack. The same day, Jada shared additional content on X and Bluesky, further expanding the game’s lore with fabricated development details and promotional materials.

Jada's viewers immediately sorted themselves into those who insisted that they distinctly remember playing the game, and those who dismissed it on landing. Still, more footage and evidence of the doomed '90s game continued to pop up online in the following weeks.

How Did 'The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK' Gain Traction Online?

Jada Pada continued to fuel the SEXDICK flames in November 2024, posting a video on the 23rd that supposedly showed gameplay from a "desert level" from The Fantastic Adventures. The video gained 28,000 views in a week and spawned renewed interest in the mysterious game that – thus far – only she seemed to know anything about.

In late November 2024, a 4chan user on /v/ posted about the game, writing, "Trying to find this old game … My cousin and I used to play this when we lived in Brazil and we haven't been able to find it since. Hope someone has info." Three days later on November 29th, X user @V0IDEYEDPANDA tweeted fan art of SEXDICK, gaining over 130 likes in three days.

YouTubers continued to share unseen gameplay videos of SEXDICK in the following weeks, rounding out the game's entirely fabricated lore. For instance, on November 27th, YouTuber Bia Iconic shared gameplay of +The Fantastic Adventures of SEXDICK 2_, receiving over 12,100 views in five days.
