As Olivia pointed out regarding karma rules on Reddit:
DON'T:
Downvote opinions just because you disagree with them. The down arrow is for comments that add nothing to the discussion.
Downvote opinions just because they are critical of you. The down arrow is for comments that add nothing to the discussion.
Make comments that lack content. Phrases such as "this," "lol," "relevant," "This should be the top comment", "upboat", or "MAN THIS IS SO COOL!!!" are not witty or original, and do not add anything noteworthy to the discussion. Just click the arrow -- or write something of substance.
Just looking at the past few days…
Justin Beiber/ Beiber Hatedom
I hate Bieber too, but you don’t see me misspelling his name all the time.
This is a meme research thread, and that comment pretty much adds nothing to the conversation except for being nit-picky. It's not like the OP was full of grammatical errors :/
I was at a Japanese supermarket today…
Finally, a HOH thread worth reading.
No longer neg karma'd, but how can you expect to not get negged when some/many of us like HoH? Also, again, added nothing to the actual topic at hand, and was almost toward derailing the thread :(
So like yea, I doubt its a bunch of "rogues" downvoting you, although I wouldn't know.
Also, I only looked at the past 2 days of your forum history, so could you point out some examples where you were unfairly downvoted?
