My brother-in-law's in the Army. He's served a couple tours in Afghanistan.

Yeah my non used to be in the navy. My older sister is gonna join the marines because she has too I'm betting medic because she was originally gonna become a doctor.

What's he do in the Army (other than cry himself to sleep because he's not a Marine)?

Random statement: One of my close friends is an Army specialist and is currently deployed in Afghanistan.

The Corps doesn't have medics. They have corpsmen and corpsmen aren't in the Corps. They work for the Navy.

They have been so far, yes, but I'm hoping they'll fix that.

She needs an episode that really makes her shine.

Applebuck Season was hilarious, and was the best Applejack episode, but it still felt like it lacked something. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Fall Weather Friends didn't focus on Applejack nearly as much as I wanted it to. Rainbow Dash kept hogging the limelight, being awesome and all.

Look Before You Sleep was a great episode, but once again I came for the Applejack, and stayed for a different pony (Rarity in this case).

Am I missing any AJ episodes…?

She needs an episode that just screams "I'm AJ, and I'm best pony!"

I've been in Marine JROTC and they did not teach us about the classification of what ever the difference between the jobs in the navy. When I think of medical and military I instantly think medic. You can thank TF2 for that.

I haven't heard of those filenames before. Sorry. Also, glad to see you came back if just for a little while. Most of us are certainly trying to keep discussion like that of other general threads, and Citation threatens us with death if we don't. I think that means he cares about us.

This right there. I hope that she may play a major "role" of mystery in one of the next episodes somehow (if you've read the synopses, you may know the episode I"m talking about,) but I kinda doubt it due to the implications of that episode.

I've got a brother who has spent some time in Afghanistan, but he may have to return again. I'm pretty sure he's not a military Brony, but I did see something say "Rarity" on one of the XBox 360 screens. But I was like, "Nahh…"

And finally, why are we giving ponies guns again? Sure, I hate guns as is, so I'm biased, but I haven't come across any image with a pony wielding a gun that I liked. It just conflicts too much with me. I can't really see a FiM Pony using a gun. Does not compute, stuff like that.

They did mention the only reason they didn't go by their fanon names was because of legal issues. As far as Studio B's concerned Lyra is still Lyra, so I don't think the new names'll stick. On the other hand, those other weird lookin' ponies who aren't in the show may get picked up by the community in the same vain as Maplejack.

Yeah I'll be not so active on this thread tonight I will lurk but possible not respond to you as much because right now I'm going to try to make a rail-gun I might as well try with some copper wires, 2 magnets ofcourse, a solar panel to accumulate enough energy to launch a projectile, hell it's going to be mostly made from legos like most of my stuff I could make more awesome things but it requires money for me to get junk in order for me to make what I want. I learn the physics of magnetism so I know how magnets work. Along with other things for comfort. And see if I can put pony stickers on it too if I can. Cya. :D

You're making a rail-gun… with Lego…

That sort of thing requires ridiculously precise engineering. Even the US military are having a hard time figuring them out. It'd be easier to make a coilgun (normally called Gauss guns in videogames), but even that would take a lot of skill. If you actually get it working, I'll be seriously impressed.

(Protips: Unless they're huge, solar panels won't provide enough energy, and railguns don't use permanent magnets. They generate their own magnetic field when you run a huge current through the rails)

I'm still gonna bucking do it. I will do my best. I don't care if it's made from legos really it's the only shit I got sadly. And I'm afraid my dad will bitch if I buy actual metal. I'll use what I got I do have some metal. But it's gonna be used for a rails and it's gonna be small believe it or not you CAN make a home made rail gun you just gonna try. Here is a picture of one.

I'm not stopping you. Just saying it will be difficult as hell, and that I doubt the components you mentioned will be sufficient. I was thinking about making one once, but after I did the research I realised it was way beyond me (and my budget).

The instructions on there I just looked at the pictures and it looked like a homeless person could make one.

You can talk pony now if you want it's okay come out now everyone.
