no, no, no, I meant absolute time, as in, the shipping step takes 80 seconds…

I feel like an ass. I just… can't agree with this. It has 35 thumbs up and many "iagree.png" comments. I, however, hate the Rule 34. Seriously. I can't help but want to punch every Rule 34 artist out there in the face. It's impossible for me to tolerate them.
sigh

Love and tolerance ain't easy. You gotta be tough as RD and AJ to able to do it. See what I did there?

Gentlederps….

Good to see you again.

So I finally did it… My sister has just been converted to the herd!

I knew last episode would be perfect to introduce her to the show. Then I told her to watch Ticket Master, and now she's planning to watch the first season. YAY!

As for the next episode discussion, I'm currently stuck between Trixie and a new unknown character as the Mare Do Well. I didn't quite understand about the description of her "stealing RD's thunder". Maybe is that her cutie mark is the same as Rainbow, and everypony thinks she's the hero, what could be implying that it is a pegasus.

I'm quoting Owens post about that, which I agree:

Fandoms are two-sided coins. One side is new and shiny, the other scarred and ugly. Of course, since there are those who like the “ugly” side, this is a completely subjective metaphor I’m using, but you get my point.
Don’t let things like this make you wonder why you joined a particular fandom to begin with. Enjoy it for what it is. Accept the darker sides, because they inevitably come with the package.

@Cite: Well… what Ideo said. I can't love everything (anthro R34, I will destroy on sight), but I try.

@Dr. Horse: Didn't Studio B say Derpy would have more of a role this season? If so, then it's Derpy. Derpy is the superhero.

Bet ya ten bits.

MARK MY WORDS.

The next day…

I see what you did there. A literal pegasister. :)

You just gotta forget about it, I truly believe in live and let live. I don't agree with many things, but hey if you like it, its not my concern. Like I don't like the idea of veganism, but if thats what you like, go ahead. That is, as long as you don't say something to piss me off, thats when the tolerating me goes out the window.
Just remember that as long as it doesn't affect you are other people negatively, why should it bother you?
( I dont clop to r34, Its just kinda funny in a weird way)

You admit it though. It sounds like you would feel differently if you could. But you can't. No reason to lie about it. The best you can do is let it be. The second best thing is to not interact with those who are in R34 mode or are heavily involved with it.

I'll take it one step further. I just don't like some Bronies, period. Heck, even on this thread, honestly. I can't. And I don't really want to like them.

I know that there are people in the world different from me, and I know it's OK. But that only makes the fact worse. I know they're not bad or wrong or anything. But I still can't stand certain people I've seen comments from in the community (like on the Pony Confessions tumblr.)

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. During those situations, we just have to let it be. It's a very distant way of tolerating.

On a related note, people who intentionally read SAM are extremely hard to tolerate.

I intentionally read it, but I'd say its the same as intentionally watching Human centipede. As long as you go there for the shock value and not to jerk it, i don't see a problem.

What's SAM?

As for the whole tolerance thing, I personally don't really care what other people get up to (with R34 and stuff), as long as I can keep it separate from me. If people tried to shove R34 down my throat or something, I would just leave.

What I really don't like is when people needlessly hate on other people. It's just stupid. I try not to waste my time on that sort of person.

SAM is the short name for Samuel.
That's all you need to know.

Sweet Apple Massacre. A horrible fanfic. Also you're a true brony.

@Connor: That bag of flour looks familiar.

Sweet Apple Massacre, A poorly written pile of dog shit. It just tries to be as vulgar as possible, Kind of like "the aristocrats joke" that Gilbert Gottfried ( voice of iago in Aladdin) said at someones roast. Its an anti-joke, so vulgar its almost funny.
The aristocrats joke

I have to disagree. Cupcakes actually disturbed me, sweet apple massacre was just too outrageous to be taken seriously.

You can't go around saying who is and isn't a brony based purely on their tolerance levels of R34. To me, bronydom represents a much higher standard of fandom, a real brony wouldn't fall into the same traps that say… a Sonic fan would.

The whole "love and tolerate" thing is aimed more towards outsiders and trolls, and should never mean outright ignoring them or letting them do as they please. If people in your own fandom are undermining the very core of the fandom itself you can't just "love and tolerate" them, if someone is doing actual harm you need to address it.

If anything, my not caring makes me less of a brony, and I'm okay with that. In a situation in which there's someone trolling or hating on bronies, I may not like it but I would probably not stand up and defend the fandom. But that's me. I just don't really care that much.

And as for tolerance, I try to apply that generally. I have to accept that people have different viewpoints that I can't change, whether that's about religion or R34. When it comes to the latter, there are many here who consider R34 artists to be detrimental to bronydom, but they would say the opposite. Neither are "right," they're all aspects of the whole, and that can't be changed, and that's why I tolerate them (even if I don't agree with what they're doing).

edit: wow, late as usual. too much thinking.

It's true…I'm secretly fapping to some humanized Futashy as we speak. I've been having to delete my posts frequently condemning others, because typing with one hand is hard.

Verbose is sobbing.

But I actually find this kind of discussion fascinating. So much of people talking everyday is just surface level stuff where people say what they're supposed to say. It's kinda boring for me.

And so I like discussions about R34. I like talking about the fandom (the good and the bad.) I like talking about our approaches to trolls. I like talking about how diverse (or not diverse we are.)

But that's just me.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to fimchan research.

All of my kramas, Gigatoast…

EDIT: I know that feel, opspe. I had something massive written. I refreshed only to see that you and Gigatoast already got my feelings in less words.
