As for the question, which is awesome as always, I would think it's a pony, from the hooves, tail, mane, and ears. Prior knowledge from previous generations of MLP would help aid that assumption.

You know guys, I've been thinking. Why on earth did I ever think Rainbow Dash was so cool, anyway? I mean, she's awesome some of the time, like when she's saving the lives of other ponies or… I dunno, looking cute I guess, but hey, they're all cute at some point. Plus she's so arrogant, it's a little over the top. The point I'm trying to make is that I think I've realized that playing favorites isn't always wise.

But then again, Applejack is such a great pony, I think I'll make an exception for her. She's truly an inspiration!

For one, finding an example of a fan or two or seventeen of the show who subscribes to a faith does not mean the point is disproved. I will bet based on hard data that most bronies don't subscribe to a faith.

Secondly, I was talking about Web Culture on the whole. Please don't feel the need to defend bronies when I'm not speaking about them in particular.

Third, that's one point of a few that I mentioned, and many that I didn't. Don't like sports. Generally single, even at older ages, not as "straight" as other populations. There are other things that I didn't ask about.

Four, you didn't even hit on the theory I proposed.

Hold on a sec guys, I just realized my mistake.

First of all, there's actually no way for me to interview every single brony in existence to find out for sure who believes what, so all I can really do is estimate. Even "hard data" wouldn't give me a completely accurate number, and besides, 17 bronies affiliated with faith? Even for sarcasm that was nonsense.

Next, I realize you weren't actually defending bronies, you were simply stating a difference of opinion on one detail. I don't know why I even said that.

As far as the other points I made, I now understand that you may not have necessarily disagreed with them overtly, and therefore felt no particular need to debate them. I imagine that includes my theory that most bronies are similar in many aspects to typical members of nerdy web communities.

Oh well, nobody's perfect.
