Maybe it's just because of that. "HEY GUYZ MY OC HAZ MAGIX AND WINGS!1!'!1 THAT MAEKS HIM SPECIAL RIGHT???"

A thought occurred to me. If a unicorn knows a levitation spell, wouldn't that technically make them an alicorn? Makes you think.

Gonna have to say no on that, Jimmy. The only two ways that a non-alicorn can become an alicorn is either the spell that was cast on Twilight toward the end of Magical Mystery Cure or for the pony to drink a butt-load of Red Bull.

Ehh, no. They may have the ability of making things float, and maybe carry their own weight and float around, but this spell doesn't have the same equivalent of having wings.

Indeed…

…It's actually creepier, and much cooler.

…In terms of transportation though, there's no practical difference, besides the fact that when the magic gives out, you don't get to glide down like you might with wings.

A "butt-load"?

Are you suggesting that Redbull enemas are a viable way for a pony to ascend?

Because I'm sure that there are a lot of unicorns who would consider that a fair trade.

Man, was just trying to watch a Drake and Josh video on Youtube and I see a My Little Pony shitwar going down in the comments. I thought it was just because some Brony was like "Lel, I'm a brony who likes Drake and Josh! Other Bronies who like Drake and Josh give me a brohoof!" But no I was wrong. Instead, it was a guy with a Pony avatar saying "Goddamn, Drake and Josh used to be my favorite show when I was a kid" and it had a lot of thumbs up……. buuuuut someone had to comment saying "Yeah, it's a much better show than My Little Pony you faggot."……….

If there's a fucking flamewar about Ponies going on in the comment section of that 'The Room' video I am going to go on an emotional rampage.

That is the sole reason I thought it was a terrible idea to put profile avatars next to everyone's comments

Youtube is so dumb…

Oh wow, someone just downvoted everyone in this page.
But don't fear, my friends! I'll fix it!

@Kewln00b: Oh well, that happens pretty much anywhere. You are watching, let's say, a Kerbal Space Program video. Everyone is talking about the game and the video in the comments, etc. And all it takes to start a shitstorm is one single user with a pony picture. Suddenly, nobody cares about the content in the video, but only about why ponies do or not suck.

It's the internet, full of all the kinds of people, specially the stupid ones.

I couldn't find that picture of BonBon with the 'I meh'd over my desk' caption, so I'll use a scrunch picture

Though, if it was the same person that downvotes on the MLP entry, I gotta say, he / she has quite some dedication to downvoting all those comments, and now these posts.

And then all of a sudden Bruno noticed…

Oh wow, someone just downvoted everyone in this page.

Those bastards.

@Kewln00b: It usually happens when some trolls post something they know people will get all Broken Based over, such as posting about Black Veil Brides on a metal forum. They just keep on trollin'.

There's your problem.

@Avatars
I use my Tweyelicorn avatar on all my accounts (except for Facebook, can't have a spaghetti breach occur). I wonder how much trolling I could do with it…

God, having broken AC sucks in 80 degree weather. Willis Carrier needs to be turned into an alicorn princess for his accomplishments. Screw Twilight, if anyone deserves it, it's Carrier.

@Avatars….Man, I feel like my power level is only 5. This is the only Pony themed avatar I have on all of the internet. I only chose this avatar because it's a Gif of Barry Mother Fucking Burton riding Pinkie Pie, if I never found this I'd probably have some KISS avatar.

@Downvotes. I have to admit, due to my very severe OCD I hate seeing anything less than 100% so seeing that I have a 6% negative Karma (most of it from the butthurt Downvoters and some of it from people….I don't know why people downvote. I've only downvoted 5 people since I got here and those were just spambots/Tryhard trolls) so it affects me in a very minor way, only in a "Aww man, now I have 6% negative Karma. Oh well, I have 94% positive Karma." and not in a "YOU FIEND! YOU DOWNVOTED ME AND RUINED MY KARMA!!!! FOR THIS I WILL NEVER TALK ABOUT PONIES AGAIN!!! BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!!!!"

So uhh…..yeah just trying to downvote everyone just seems pointless as I'm pretty sure no one here will stop posting here because some guy is going around downvoting us (my vote's on 'Doge') but I guess I'll humor him and give him the reaction he wanted

@Avatars

I've never actually had a pony avatar. Even though I'm officially a "Ponyologist" on this site, I'm actually very reluctant to talk about the show in real life.

Actually, I haven't changed my avatar since I replaced the default one more than two years ago, back before I was even a brony. What a long strange trip it's been.

@Avatars
I do have one, but I don't feel like uploading it yet, apart from the fact that my co-workers might view me "specially" if I do so. I fear the spaghetti breach that would occur if they find out.

@Avatars

This discussion makes me want to don a pony avatar on my google account then go around Youtube video's posting completely on-topic posts that have nothing to do with ponies…just to see who gets trolled.

Youtube indeed has some of the dumbest commenters. They'll complain over everything, they argue with trolls, they always confuse all the Electronica genre's for dubstep and they never STFU about Beiber

But in any case, KYM and Facebook are the only places I have a pony avatar. It's always my OC

@Downvoter

It's not wise to give these people any attention, but to hell with it. We've had them so often I don't even care anymore.

It probably is the same person every single time. I like to think there's a bearded fat bald dude with no friends and no job, living on ordered pizza and welfare checks who spends all his time in front of the computer…in his underwear…one tab on his porn and the rest on tons of pony sites….just downvoting every pony related post. Bombing the MLP entry comments without fail, all day, everyday. This is his life: the KYM karma bomber.

@Avatars
I only really have 3 accounts that I use frequently; here, Steam and Youtube. I'm a giant squid on steam (don't ask me why, I have no idea), and I use my stalkerloo on YouTube. It doesn't really jump out as a pony unless you look right at it, though, so I think I'm good.

@Downvotes
I remember the first and only time I've been angry at getting a downvote. It was on my "Real Advance" song. The reason I got angry is because I was literally one upvote away from a perfect hundred karma with no downvotes. But I'm TOTALLY over that. I certainly won't hunt anyone down with a garrote wire if I find out who they were. No sir, not me.

If it makes you feel better, the karma server takes a while to update, which means that you probably hit the perfect 100 without being able to see it. But still, at some point, in the depths of KYM, your perfect karma came to be.

@Avatars
I'm always changing my avatar here. I've been using the same Luna avatar on my youtube (which I haven't used in a long time since I have two youtube accounts).

@Downvotes
I don't care much about downvotes or upvotes. They don't matter to me. I'll upvote a post if I like it. I never downvote posts because I don't like doing that. I downvoted one post on this site and I wish I could take it back.

@Avatars
I'm using a pony avatar on everything I use frequently, here, youtube, facebook and steam, and a Dutch brony forum.
Haven't gotten any negative from any of them, except one time on youtube. But yeah, that's youtube.

@Avatars
I am only using "Alex Mercer" avatar on KYM and Youtube. I am not a tripfag or something. Not using tumblr or reddit either. I don't even really care about "Alex Mercer" too much. I just using this because it makes easier to people recognize me.

@Continuing avatar disccussion
I do so love Tweyelicorn. I've used it for so long (since I signed up on KYM and posted that Fleshlight Sparkle image on the gallery I mean, started lurking and signed up on Fimfiction), I get the feeling that if I ever change it out, no one would recognize me.

I'm also one of those people who obsesses about keeping their "internet identity" constant across the internet, and so have signed up to websites I'll probably never use (Tumblr, Yahoo, Wordpress, Live Journel) just so I can claim the "xTSGx" username.

That damn graphics company on Twitter that hasn't posted in three years…

@Avatars: I usually use either this avatar, or the one with the Do Not Want rageface with Applejack instead. Sgt. Scrubnoob is already using that one here, though, so yeah.

@Karma: If you looked at my profile, you'd see that I have a decent upvote-downvote ratio. (77%-23% as of now.) When somebody downvotes my posts, I just shrug it off most of the time. (On a related note, holy shit I have a lot of upvotes on this page.)

And then Equestria Girls CMC.

Unless I'm feeling a bit bored with it, my avatar is almost always Luna-themed. Some of you may remember when that got awkward with my Princess Balloona one though.

But yeah, it's pretty much always Luna.

Because Luna.

Well, looks like the Brony Doc will probably get a 50% rating from top critics (which basically means two top critics will actually watch this movie) and a 100% rating from the audience….until someone constructs a raid to take it down to 80%

Hello small horse fans. I realize that last week I said my school's Brony club would be doing a chalking every Saturday and that I would upload pictures for all to see. This most recent Saturday we didn't chalk because we forgot were busy with other things. However, today was the school-wide activities fair, where every club gets to promote itself to the Carnegie Mellon campus as a whole. Since we're officially a club this year, we got a table.

The turnout and interest was beyond my expectations. We had a mailing list sign up sheet, where interested people could put their names, email, and favorite pony. Over 30 people put their names down, and probably 70% of them put down a favorite pony. For the record, our club meetings usually have 7 people. (If you're curious what the tally for the favorite pony section was, look in this spoiler)

Rainbow Dash – 4
Pinkie Pie – 4
"All of them" – 3
Twilight – 2
Applejack – 1
Rarity – 1
Derpy – 1
Lyra – 1

Fluttershy had 5 votes, but two of them were from the same guy. I guess Fluttershy fans like to do that sort of thing in polls.

Most people just walked up, asked "What do you guys do?", listened to us explain that we watched FiM, became happy, then signed up and walked away. The people that were interested were quite diverse as well, and we probably got the most requests of any club to have pictures taken with/of us. At least two guys asked if we got stoned when we watched it, which we don't (they lost interest after we told them that). Overall, the brony fandom at this school is booming, it seems. We shall see how many people actually come to club on Saturday, though.
Oh,and here's the poster we are currently using across campus:

(Pinkie Pie was already taken surprisingly quickly)

Sadly this isn't the case. I saw my karma drop to 98 before it went back up to 99 a few minutes later. Shed a tear for the perfect 100 that never was.

@Disturbed

I never downvote posts because I don’t like doing that. I downvoted one post on this site and I wish I could take it back.

I never give people downvotes, mainly because Master Parrot doesn't and I need to set a good example for his clones the fanbase.

@SkymanKez
All this talk of brony clubs and Blue Screen grinding his teeth at the spaghetti made me look up and see if Washtenaw Community College had one. They don't, so my spaghetti can remain safely in its containment. They do, however, have a "Witch and Pagan Group", which I found to be even stranger than if they had a pony one. I can't help but have a stereotypical image of bubbling caldrons and brooms in my head.

It also reminds me of that time earlier this week that I found somebody watching anime in one of the classrooms by himself via the room's projector. Still haven't encountered any ponies on campus yet, although I swear I sometimes overhear people talking about them when I travel through the student center, although that might just be pony voices in my head starting to manifest due to years of pone.

Hey everyone, it's been more than 4 months but I'm back! Nice to see that this place is still up and running.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with everyone here, because it's kinda funny. My friends (not bronies) have said time and again that they are buying me an Equestria Girls DVD for my birthday. They have forbidden me from watching it until then, when they will force me to. This has been going on for a few weeks now, and every time I see them they bring it up somehow (they find this whole "brony" thing pretty funny, and Equestria Girls was a real kicker). So a couple days ago when they brought up the topic again, I turned around and said that I would gladly wait until my birthday and watch it with them if (and only if) they watch all 65 episodes of the show first. They considered it a moment, and haven't spoken about it since. So, I'm just sitting back and waiting to see how this all plays out!

Good to be back. Again. I really dislike my dial-up internet at home…

Good to see you back. We missed you. While you were gone, we had to get out commodore fix from these guys:

It just isn't the same.

Huh. I just listened to that entire song. Four minutes well spent!

So I just did a bit of reading back (that is to say I went to the top of this page and scrolled down), and I just thought I'd comment on the whole "avatars" topic. I actually only have a couple. There's the one I use here (because monocle + top hat = awesome), and there's one of Pokey from a little-known SNES game called Earthbound. Ponies and old video games… Yup, that pretty much sums up my time spent online.

@pony clubs
I have never seen anything like that in my area. I know of a couple people who watch the show, but other than that there's nothing. Mind you, I did see a guy wearing a Fluttershy T-shirt at a Magic: the Gathering pre-release once.

Do you even internet?

Ah, the fond memories of Juno and them trying to screw over my family resulting in much phone conversations and threats of litigation. When IE was king, Yahoo! was our search engine, and I wasn't allowed to go on it without my mom hovering over my back.

And for those who don't remember/are too young to remember

I was gonna complain about how long it takes to load the page using my netbook, but the dial-up thing beats that by a longshot.

Speaking of, which ponies would play for which teams? I think it's safe to say Vinyl would play for the Chargers, but how about you?
