Well, it took them almost a year but they FINALLY fixed the MLP game on Android so now I can finally add friends on my game and now I can finally continue the damn game and get my mother fucking Scootaloo. Goddamn, never had a game inconvenience me as bad as this. Quality game Gameloft, also have to give them props for providing such a quick response to these problems we've been having all year long after all those reports I filled with this problem……/rant.

Yay!

You start off with 25 hearts and Scootaloo costs 30….why must it take so long for me to get 5 hearts?! Why can't you just pay for hearts?! You have to pay for just about everything else in this game! (I wait for the sales personally, I buy a shitload of gems for a small price. If it weren't for that one sale when they were selling the second highest amount of gems for 75% off I would never have gotten the mane 6.)

I'm so close to Scootaloo I can feel the Scoots.

How many friends do you have?
The more you have, the faster you can generate hearts.
Try gong here and just adding as many names as you can: Gameloft Add-Me Thread
(If you start at the end, you'll find the most recent names and thus the people most likely to still be playing.)

Hey, all you comic book people!
The Pinkie Pie Micro-Comic has launched and can be found on the same site I linked you all to before: But in case you missed the link…

This is a very fun, (obviously) Pinkie-centric little tale that is full of the playful insanity that you might expect, but it also has some very good emotional bits that fit Pinkie very well, too.
Definitely recommending the read!

And, in a very unusual twist on the comic formula, this release is coupled with some mixed media!
In the comic, Pinkie has a big musical number (typical Pinks), but it is obviously all text.
Well, the writer of the comic actually went out of his way to recruit some mucians and voice actors to bring his song to life.
I'd recommend reading the comic first to get the full context, but here it is:

Wait, so you haven't been getting any of the hearts I've been sending you for MONTHS now?
Damn it, Kewl. Do you know how many sewer rats I had to kill to get you all those? Because here's a hint: Fluttershy has my name at the top of more than a few lists now.

@DeadParrot
The music was arranged well, though if it had a string section, that might be even better.
(Ha, reference)

I haven't seen EqG either. Nor do I intend to. I went to see World War Z instead.

My time is far more vested into drawing ponies and playing minecraft

@Pony height

There's little denying the apple comparisons. Even if that places ponies a little smaller than I would like. At the end of the day this is My Little Pony and in all serious I guess it would be about right.

But at that same end of the day I remember that this is my headcanon and in within it, ponies can be any size I damn well please. So I just end up saying "They are as tall as I want to imagine". Which usually places them at about tall dog size (Winowa is a small breed)

A bit anti-climatic when it comes to discussion yes, but I've already been down the long debate road for this topic

Well, since Winona is a Dachshund, and the height range of the average Dachshund is usually 1' to 1' 6", I say a pony in MLP is about 3 Winonas tall, which is basically a minimum height of 3 feet and a maximum of 4 feet 8 inches. Princess Celestia is about 4 Winonas tall.

(Too lazy to make an infographic on this, so just approximate with screencaps.)

@Lone K

I should also note than in my headcanon: Everything is typically smaller in Equestria. This includes Cows, Donkeys, Sheep, Cats and Dogs. These Equestrian species appear similar to their Earth counterparts but grow to be smaller due to the different climate and environment of Equestria

Yeah, it's actually really funny. Tags say NSFW, but I don't remember there being any sexy times.

Disturbed Brony said:

Fluttershy is an orphan with aspergers and was bullied in school. When she grew up she became a prostitute, a vet, a chicken farmer, a government-paid-animal-care-taker, and a porn star.

And thus, the plot for another crackfic was born.

That pretty much seems like what I was saying.

The new Pinkie Micro was fantastic. You could tell the artist had an excellent understanding of giving the characters a lot of great energy, which is more important in a Pinkie Pie comic than anything. I also loved the Ponyacci character.

Also, did anyone else notice the student that was literally named "Tollo Lollo"?

Great comic, can't wait for AJ's Micro and issue #9

If you read mine and Deadparrot's 40+ page long conversation expressing my anger towards Gameloft not fixing this game for almost a year you would know sending me hearts was wasteful. I was expecting to log onto MLP and see a million hearts waiting for me, but apparently if you can't get them quick enough they just vanish cause as I logged in I only saw two hearts…..from Deadparrot.

@Deadparrot I added about 10 friends back when I was optimistic about them fixing the game. As long as they're still active I'll have a shitload of gems maybe!

Also I found this

Probably bullshit but I like it when someone goes back to watch the show and find funny 'clues' like this.

PS I started Breaking Bad finally on Netflix, with MLP, Breaking Bad and Battle Royale in my watched section Netflix must be having a confusing time trying to suggest shows for me.

@Comic – I enjoyed the story. It's probably the best mini-comic yet. But that's not what I'm focused on.

Colta-Cola is canon.

Colta-Cola is canon.

POP OPEN A COLD ONE, MOTHERBUCKERS.

Reminds me of this one picture saying that the Cider in MLP must be the alcoholic version (just "Cider" in the UK, "Hard Cider" in the US) because it bubbles.
…Just throwing that out there.
BTW, this is one of my favorite alcoholic beverages and I <3 milkshakes so I guess this works for me.

On average, most species of sheep are at least 50 – 70 cm tall when adult. (I'm getting serious about this stuff, my headcanon hates not being right/messed with.)

The height of an adult cow is (from a measuring of several species) 4 – 7 feet tall, or 122 – 213 cm tall. As seen in this screencap that was a random picking and it worked well actually:

I'm guessing the cows seen in this here photo are about 4.5 feet tall and Applejack is about 3.5 feet or so.
Assuming from the fact that the show is called My Little Pony, everypony (puns maybe) is a breed of miniature horse, which can explain their small sizes. Unless they are actually the normal size of ponies (58 in. or 14.2 hands), then the cows and sheep would be bred healthier which can explain their larger sizes. There is a possibility of a miscalculation, but shouldn't they grow larger in size due to the fact that Equestria is less polluted and everything is more natural instead of inorganic?

To stay certainly on topic, here's a pony with a milkshake.

This reminds me of that one page filled with these pictures.
My, doesn't time just fly by?

Alright, here's a question: what kind of movies do you think they have in Equestria?

What a box office bust.

I think they have most of the same genres they do in our world, as well as expies of our movies. Some of the big franchises are probably Daring Do, Final Equestrination, and Mission: Imponyble. I'm so sorry for those horrendous puns.

@Lunar: I'm thinking that's the reference they were trying to get

@Mark: Nnnnnnope, Colta-Cola is in the new micro, which means soda is now canon. What is the Pepsi of the ponyverse? Ponsi? Pepspone?

@Crash: I still am not convinced that cider in MLP is alcoholic. Why would they be letting fillies drink it? Where are the ID checks? I'm pretty sure cider froths a bit right after you pour it, too (especially when it comes out of a valve/tap like that. It could also be sparkling cider.

I've got my first day of real world, adult work tomorrow, so I'm looking up obscure shows and movies from my childhood to deal with my anxiety.

Pony suffuses everything. Even your past. (You'll only need to watch the first 30 seconds.)

That little girl is Andrea Libman. She sounds like a perfect combination of a mean Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie to me.

I can hear the similarity, quite strange if you ask me.
@ Soda puns.
Ehh, Pepsi is known in Mexico as Pepsico. (Not that the bottles are labeled like that.) So I would suggest that the pun would be Pepsicolt.

@Lone K

You're under the false presumption that my headcanon pays any respect to logic. It really doesn't, not for cartoons anyway

There is a possibility of a miscalculation, but shouldn’t they grow larger in size due to the fact that Equestria is less polluted and everything is more natural instead of inorganic?

You'd think, since the environment is so much more optimal for herbivores in Equestria but honestly my headcanon just pulls this stuff out of it's ass and I just make up excuses for it later.

Like right now: since Equestria is post-apocalypic Earth beyond the year 150,000AD. The atmosphere is much weaker than it was before after numerous millenia of atmospheric leakage, not to mention the apocalypse that destroyed much of the atmosphere and took any remnants of mankind with it in the ancient past. The reduced oxygen levels trigger a evolutionary preference to smaller bodies which are less dependent on a thick atmosphere…

…but that's not my actual headcanon. I'm just making more shit up to confuse you. After all, that one would not have explained the dragons. I'm just showing how I use my imagination.

Actually it's just a matter of everything in equestria not being exactly to scale towards earth comparisons. It's a vastly different world. Absolutes that we observe here do not immediately translate into absolutes over there. But we can infer from the image you posted that ponies are a breed of miniature horse like you say* and still retain similar size proportions of one. Nor are cows vastly that different either.

(*A miniature horse that's been genetically engineered, psionically enhanced and pushed through accelerated evolution due to human tampering with genetics prior to unleashing the zombie apocalypse, Survived the apocalypse and evolved into the ponies we see now over the course of countless millenia. See that crazy shit there? That's what you are dealing with. Probably better not to question it)

yeah, but the way they perceive genres would be completely different from how we do. like our high fantasy would be more action adventure to them. Since they live in a fantasy world all of the normal fantasy tropes become normal day life for them.

if we just showed them episodes of their own show, it would probably be a reality show to them.

Ahem…

(Actually, it's just a special cover for the Pinkie Micro, but it's still awesome!)

@BSoD
Are we still talking about pony sizes?

I think I fall close to your version of 'headcanon.'
I have very, very few ideas that I genuinely believe to be true about the show that have not been explicitly stated in the show.
Pretty much any other concept or explanation I throw out there is me trying to tie a bunch of disparate facts together into something that resembles a cohesive whole, but until any of it is actually shown to be true, I tend to not take any of it all too seriously.
Just for fun.

@Verbose
Ha, nice find!
I think I have vague memories of Susie Q, but I don't think I ever actually watched it…

Anyway, I remember Andrea Libman talking about how she became and stayed a voice actor and it was pretty funny.
In case some are unaware, Andrea isn't the biggest fan of her own voice.
Back as a kid, she got those kinds of T.V. roles because she was pretty cute and all that, and had that perfect high-pitched 'little girl' voice which was obviously appropriate at the time.
Unfortunately for her on-camera acting career, though, her voice only ended up changing ever so slightly as she got into adulthood, so she wound up in her current situation.
It is good in its own way because it lets her do voices like Pinkie who is way outside the range of most normal VAs, but Andrea still throws out the occasional self-deprecating joke about her ridiculously childish voice.

@CrazyC
While we might not have autoplay capabilities, we do have 10 hour Youtube loops and endless gifs!

Hasbro (or should I say Haysbro) is a company in MLP, if the board games they play are any indication:

And there are even Transformers (or should I say Transformares) toys as well (second to last panel):

@Jimmy Lethal

Wouldn't that be "Marecrosoft"?

(Although come to think of it, someone should make an AU where the Apples own a computer company called Apple, and their Main Operating System is Named after Big Macintosh.)
