So, apparently, Evefree Northwest is this weekend and I'm wondering what kind of shitstorms will develop? Last year there was the whole "racist/[insert]phobia" Tumblr drama. Then you have all the other dramas from the other conventions. The Equestria Girls shitstorm was woefully inadequate, so I'm hoping that we get something out of this.

Well, if anyone is still taking the whole Meghan McCarthy thing seriously, there is this:

No, Purple Tinker was the founder of BronyCon so that's the one that he's most critical of now.
Best to just ignore though, nothing good comes from giving that kind of drama-creation any kind of attention.

Isn't Everfree the one where Purple Tinker was all butthurt about? If so we can expect more drama coming from him for this one.

I doubt every storyline will be revealed. What I suspect will happen is thye have been given permission to tell the truth in response to any fan questions, but won't nessecarily volunteer the storylines. ( basicaly, if somebody asks "Will the other Element Bearers become alicorns" Thye miht confirm another Element bearer will ascend ( though I doubt it- it's too soon after Twilight's ascension. On the other hand, with an extra Alicorn per season so far… (Luna returned Season 1, Cadence appeared Season 2, Twilight ascended Season 3. More importantly, the new alicorns were increasingly close to Twilight.(oh hell, please don't tell me Spike is next…)) so maybe there will be a new Alicorn Season 4, fitting the pattern.

Needless to say… If any official looking Material where an Alicorn is Depicted show up ANYWHERE… How about we believe them this time?

But as for Mane 6… I assume that if and when they ascend is going to roughly correspond to the moment they fulfill their other dreams… or as some would put it, the end of their current Arc.

Rainbow Dash wants to be a Wonderbolt… Rarity wants to be famous… depending one which you see to be closer to achieving their goal, one is going to become Alicorn First.

Why these two are being used is cause out of the Remaining Five, these are the only two with an Ongoing Quest arc to speak of… With Applejack needing a new one to blossom from what thread of narrative we've gotten from her in season 3… Fluttershy has barely an Arc and Pinkie has almost No arc to speak of.

And between Rainbow Dash and Rarity, its more or less a coin Toss which comes next…

Rarity's goals are more or less in line with becoming a Princess… So when she fulfills her arc her reward can be becoming Alicorn, which gives her everything she wanted.

Meanwhile… Rainbow Dash has a much more concrete set of tasks ahead of her before she reaches her goal of becoming a Wonderbolt, which means its relatively closer… but it doesn't entirely line up with Alicorn Stuff… So though she'll achieve her dream first, either the Alicorn part will come later… or the thing that gets her into the Wonderbolts turns out to be her becoming a Princess.

However… If we're going to put a probability on it… We kind of need to see a few episodes involving one or the other… If Rainbow dash begins to look closer to being Wonderbolts, we'd have to place it at about 50/50 chance… (That 50/50 being a coin toss on whether becoming a Wonderbolt is Circumstantially aligned with her Becoming a Princess)… But if not, it will probably swing in Favor of Rarity.

As such… For now I'll have to place odds on Rarity… But that will almost definitely change as the Season goes on.

I woudl actaully suggest that Rainbow Dash is more likely. Rainbow Dash is closer to achieving the end of her arc- she has attedned the Wonderbolt Academy, and is on the radar of the Wonderbolts. (I doubt Spitfire would dash after Dash if there wasn't SOMETHING more than a student dropping out- Dash is hardly likely to have been the first Pegasus to quit the Wonderbolt Academy.)

Urgh, I really need to stop trying to think about things at 1AM… I've given msyelf a headache.

No, she was just joking about the 'reveal every storyline' thing. She does that all the time, and with the 'tell the truth' part that's not going to happen either, everyone on the show is under contract to basically say NOTHING about episodes that aren't out, hence "Look, it's a moose!"

I must say, I hope they don;t go the Ascension route and make the Mane 6 all alicorns. Not only would a octoarchy be a governmental nightmare but it would really undermine the alicorn thing. Twilight I can see getting rewarded, but Pinkie? Dash? They really didn't do much more than befriend Twilight and let the Orbital Friendship Cannon lock on to their coordinates. What about Spitfire? Why isn't she an alicorn? Or Shining Armor?

It does appear that Dash will be the primary focus of season four, what with Hasbro registering the RAINBOOM and RAINBOW ROCKS trademarks. Maybe we'll finally get some awesome Cloudsdale/Wonderbolts world building.

Well guys…..I had my first Brony meet yesterday. Wasn't anything big, was just my friend I know in real life that's a brony saying if he wanted to hang out with a few other bronies. I had nothing better to do so I accepted and went over to his place so he would bring us to his place, and all this time I was expecting a lotsa spaghetti.

I get there and first thing I hear is some good ol' Slayer, good start.

Basically I see six Humanizations of this pony right here sitting on the couch wearing shirts with the cutie marks of their favorite mane 6 pony. So basically we all hung out, watched some pony, played a few vidya games, no spaghetti there After a while we got hungry so the guy in the Applejack shirt suggested that we go out and get spaghetti, so we did and after that we went to Hottopic for Pony stuff. All in all it was a pretty nice meetup, so glad there was no spaghetti.

I never asked for this.

I just didn't want to watch folks talk about spiders.

Got Killing Floor on sale… all I can say is…

I love it! You would think the game would scare you to death like Doom, but in reality, it's a thrill ride! The specimens (zombies) all sound hilarious, especially the monkey, and they reference TONS of memes and media. Oh, and while the English in the game is mostly cockney slang, I always enjoy hearing it. Anybody else have it?
