Was uncertain whether to post this in the Xbox 1 thread or this one, but I guess it's related to this event more SO:

Microsoft… Microsoft…. what the hell Microsoft? What the hell do you think you are doing? For gods sake Microsoft, stop.

Well, I for one see this as a good thing. It reveals Micro$oft for who they really are, and helps us gamers to decipher what companies are honest and which ones are cash-grabbing assholes who are willing to take bribes. I never thought that the gaming industry could drop this low.

Did you mean Microscam?

I'm a bit rusty on the puns, don't give me flak for that.

I'm going to get Animal Crossing: New Leaf you double diggers. You can't handle the awesome.

My social-life will be gone. I'll see you all in a day, since I never had one.

Okay, What I'm really excited about:

  • A new Fallout game: I'm waiting for this for 3 years now!
  • A new Star Wars game: It doesn't matter if EA is publishing it, It's freaking Star Wars!
  • More about Destiny and GTA V #HypeTrain
  • Any new franchise that don't suck: That includes Kinect and PS Move games. Screw that.
  • Less about social features, more about games: Because that's the whole point of getting a console. Playing GAMES! Not watching ESPN…

Also, (for God's sake!) No musical perforamances! No Usher! JUST FREAKING SHOW GAMES!!

World of Tanks eh? Too bad Nair's not here anymore, he would have been all over this. And what's the point of releasing a Xbox that looks like Xbox One? If you want something that looks like Xbox One, then get Xbox One. Well they certainly are boasting the exclusives, Rare's making another Killer Instinct and Insomniac are making an exclusive for Xbox One as well.

Jumped in halfway though the Microsoft conference. Saw a pair of interesting games in there but… $500 Console!?! Jesus Microsoft! Have you learned NOTHING from the PS3!?

Hey if anyone knows where I can get the highlights and titles announced I'd appreciate it, because I can't get a view anywhere, not even on Spike.

Try the main Twitch channel.
Just hide the chat. It's seriously terrible, almost cancerous.

If ya want, try ScrewAttack. They constantly update with trailers and announcements.

EA's conference is making me cringe in pain. Please, make it stop.

I don't see why, the last while I caught was pretty good.

Also on the subject of Battlefront, I'm very pleased with what's happening.

So they're bad guys for wanting to make money? It's an entertainment business. If they were to kill orphans during their lunch breaks, it's not as if they're making a worse or better product as a result.

Am I reading that last sentence right?

I don't agree with bribing people. I just see it as wrong even if it is a business. I'm not naive and imagining that it doesn't exist, but just because it happens doesn't mean it's not a cash-grabbing technique . And my post about EA's conference was posted early on during the Plants vs. Zombies part, which I honestly couldn't stand (even if I am the minority here. It just seems to stupid of an idea). It got better afterwards, I will admit.

If you've interpreted the meaning as explaining that homicide on the weak and innocent would have no effect on the business' output of product in quality or quantity, despite the moral consequence, and the insinuation of thinking otherwise to be a misguided form of casual slacktivism, then yes your probably read that right.

@Random: But what's wrong with cash-grabbing? The point of the industry is to reap a profit.

Sure the point is to make a profit, but that doesn't make it right. Like I said, bribery is against my morals, so naturally I'm going to be against those who use it for profit.

Some companies will use bribes to their advantage, but bribery is generally frowned upon and considered unethical business conduct. Most companies do not want to labeled as incorporating unethical behaviors because that deters customers (like Random). So bribery might help to reap a profit, but it could also hurt in the long run.

I'm not saying that it's Morally okay, I was asking why morality should matter to the consumer.

Don't mind me. Just complaining.

Is that you Albert Wesker?

Seriously though, I do agree with you.

Look at what has been confirmed…

I… I just… I need a moment…

And Sony CEO is trolling via twitter. (During the Watch_Dogs gameplay; the main character's name is T-Bone)

There are no words for this. I'm still processing the amazing news that is KH3. I….I can't do this…..I….KINGDOM HEARTS THREE, GUYS!

@Tim

They just released this video, and a few minutes ago there were shots fired at XBone throughout. They're repeating the Sega Dreamcast incident. It seems they really believe they have killed Microsoft's home console market.

UPDATE:
PS4 will launch at

  • $399
  • €399
  • £349

This is pretty much over now. The Microsoft conference has just been destroyed by Sony.
All that's left is what Nintendo has planned.

Wow, so they're finally releasing KH3…that was a major surprise. And "Final Fantasy versus 13" has become FFXV…I'm intrigued…I just hope it still feels like FF though.

Man, the MGSV footage looks awesome.
