Woah, what the hell?
Dennis, your embed appeared as a KYM episode. I refreshed and then saw the real YT video, but damn that was odd. Some sort of bug in the system I guess. I should have taken a screenshot.

Whoa. Yes you should have.
That's really odd.
Brace yourself, I have quite a few! (and a good portion of them are from video games)
Magnolia is one of my favorite songs from Deemo, and its artist, M2U, is one of my favorite artists too (He's composed a good amount of genres, like dubstep, DnB, and house to name some)
Blythe is my favorite work by him
Other than M2U stuff, I really like Right Back from Technika 3. It's catchy and has a nice beat
Non-video game stuff, m1dy is an amazing speedcore artist, with my favorite by him being BadGirl (NSFW, also speedcore, so I'm not sure if EDM)
kors k is great too, especially Melting Sun
I also got RAMiami a week or two ago, and I like almost every track on it. Ohwurm, Joe Mangle, and Strike One [Part II] are my favorites
I'm sorry for the amount of links, and some of these may or may not be dance music

More house.
Being a #1 fan of Cookie Monsta, there are few dubstep tracks that don't make me roll my eyes in boredom, such as this one:
You know….I kinda wish this was back to being the dubstep thread again.
EDM is great and all. But it's a term that fails to describe everything that electronic music, especially dubstep has to offer.
When we go to an EDM thread, suddenly I feel compelled to only post stuff that's actually intended to be dance music. But only a small percentage of electronic is actually useful for dance. Meanwhile there's so much other stuff that's designed for expression, emotion, immersion, atmosphere, experimentation with sound etc
I've let this thread die. Not having anything really to contribute in terms of actual dance music but not feeling like I can post the rest
Back when this was the dubstep thread, any form of it was fair game, including the stuff that was more for getting high, instead of dancing. The weird and the wonderful such as this…

You are absolutely right.
I thought if it was expanded to all forms of electronic music, that it would chug even more. But now it's a ghost town.
Is there anything we could do to make it chug again?

Staying on topic:
Pre-Granite Pendulum is best Pendulum
Is this a pendulum thread now?
New songs:
The Toxic Avenger – Chase II
Looks like ol' Toxie's not afraid to blur the lines between big room and indie dance. I do actually like this track though; it's a tad too mild when compared to his usual work, but I enjoy it nonetheless.
Danger – 1:13
It's been a few years since Danger last made a release, and I'm afraid to confess, but I'm slightly disappointed with his new EP. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, just not near as much as his previous ones. This is easily my favorite from the EP (mostly because the other 3 tracks are too symphonic for my taste).
Linkin Park – Faint (OVERWERK Remix)
Yes, this one is a few months older than the others, but this is fucking OVERWERK we are talking about here. He is easily the best thing to come out of the modern EDM scene in the past few years. Not to mention he releases most of his work for free (some of it is even under a Creative Commons license, last time I checked). OVERWERK is love, OVERWERK is life.
Handbraekes (Boys Noize & Mr. Oizo) – Bravo
Unfortunately, there is no YouTube video for this one yet, but from what I've heard from the preview, Handbraekes is 20% Boys Noize and 80% Mr. Oizo. Oh well, if you like experimental electro then you'll love this.
I've been finding that I like Bachelors of Science lately
I love Plasterbrain's work, I'm surprised that the artist hasnt been mentioned on this thread…
I hope I can post more EDM than dubstep, because the following song isn't dubstep at all. I only follow the EDM that charts on the Hot 100, but most of them are ones that feature lyrics so people wouldn't call that "real" EDM. One, however, managed to get into the Top 40, and it's incredibly different from the rest that charts. I hope it manages to make it onto the Year End chart for this year, then I'll be able to put it on my Top 10 list for 2014.
It would be better to just post links or buttons to reduce loading time.
Page 1 is a disaster.
Staying relevant:
Oh shit son! Hero Remix!
@Adam
You can. This is still the EDM thread.
Topic hasn't changed even if some of us missed the dubstep thread.
@Adam
Though I usually don't like the music that makes it to the charts, I really like that song. I love how the drop doesn't result in a bunch of obnoxious sounds being flung in your face. It's more subdued and minimalist, which I find works really well with house tracks.
Here's some more chart-topping EDM that I like:
(It currently stands at over 74 million views. That's just crazy.)
@Vespa
Awesome song. I only have one song of theirs from the new Liquicity album, but I'll have to look deeper into their work at some point. It's the sort of chilled out drum and bass that I can really get behind.
