As I always say, I wish I made my account right when I found this website. I love the close-knit community and all the inside jokes we have. Sure, it can get crazy and a bit concerning in the political entries, but I wouldn’t trade what we have here for anything.

I joined back in March of 2010, so luckily I was here before the point meme culture became pop culture, which wasn't that far off. I also remember the time where there were plenty of ridiculous entries in the deadpool, and it was before entry hiding became a thing; which is why I personally want the ability to at least view those that are hidden from us because those always gave me a good laugh.

I'm not here for the longest time but so far I've had a lot of fun in here.
This might be one of the few places where you can have a calm discussion and barely have any bias. It's interesting to hear both sides without ending into a cesspool of insults on the get go.

Well, I've only been here for about a year, and even then I only "truly" became a member around May of this year.

Overall, I like it a lot, it's cool, the community is fairly small compared to other websites so it feels less cluttered and more welcoming compared to other social media sites; you really are able to find all kinds of people here, with different ideologies, ideas, etc. (so there's not that much of an echo chamber) but at the same time, most people are really chill around here even when we can be so different at times.

Though I will say, I'd like if the users were at least a little bit less horny… that's about it of what bothers me…

My favorite moment in KYM was around when i joined the site in 2014. At the time, the entire weeb community was united on the Kill la Kill Hype train. It was such a blast to talk theories and see the image gallery absolutely flooded every time a new episode came out. Even made some friends at that time that i still talk to today.

Regardless of what I think KYM, this site has shaped my character and has been in my life for a good chunk of it. And I can't be any more thankful for all the good it has done for me.

i whole heatedly thank KYM for giving me a place to store all of my images, i've had a use for most of them even years later.
now granted this place has gotten thirstier than a virgin pound-dog in heat, but that don't mean there's never anything to talk about around here.

Even though the site went through changes, I'll always remember the good times spent on KyM. [right in the feels]

Really satisfying milestone being hit. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers that make it interesting. Godspeed B^)

Divorce me, untie or break that knot again,
Take me to you, imprison me, for I,
Except you enthrall me, never shall be free,
Nor ever chaste, except you ravish me.

Great site, memes haven't changed much except things got a bit more political. Hope we'll go through the next 10 years with the ancient coding this website has.

Thanks to the staff, the mod team, and the community to keep this a great place.
Wish i wasn't that lazy so i could contribute more, but whatevs.

Have a good time y'all.

KYM helped fill the void in a period of time in which I stumbled aimlessly through life; finding myself resting on the safety net of minimum wage, isolation, and the autonomous lifestyle of not giving a fuck.

A place to socialize when I could go days without speaking, A place where my creativity could shine through the daily monotony, A place that felt more like a community rather than a crowd, KYM was a great place to relax until I got my collective shit together.

So here's to 10 Years! and Hundreds more until the eventual heat death of the Universe!
