I know I’m not that new anymore, but a part of me feels like I should do a post here. Well, I am NintenDylan, and I enjoy gaming on Nintendo systems and Steam, Black Sabbath, animation, and film making. I plan on making either cartoons, children’s books, films, or maybe even all three.

It took me over 6 years of lurking to finally make an account. I don't even know why I made one.
Holy shit… I've been reading about memes for way too long.

Remember the Rocketboom days, anyone? I remember watching their Know Your Meme videos before memes went "mainstream." That sounds hipster, but it's true. It used to be only kids that lived on the internet even knew what the word "meme" was. Better stop the nostalgia train now before I get carried away.

The only thing I don't like that happened to the site is the influx of bronies. But hey, everyone has different tastes. I understand it's just a way to try to fit in. Let's be honest, the show is pretty good, but there would not be nearly as many bronies if they weren't cutting across social norms.

I tried to figure out some sort of translation for "rustling my jimmies" so my username is the best I could come up with. And no, I'm not actually that into Anime. I've watched it ever since I was 6, but now I've just lost interest. But I am an avid Japanese learner! I could use someone to practice with on Skype, but I'm guessing there's not that many Japanese speakers here xD
