What are your personal thoughts on imgurs community?

Curious that there's an actual imgur community. Afaik most people just use imgur to upload pictures so they can post them somewhere else.

Which is exactly what i use it for too but lately after i uploaded an image i got a lets say very bad taste i simply want to know if the is whole community like or just it was just a bad time

Seems like a sort of shitty community tbh. Almost like a worst reddit.

Something that stands out to me is people shitting on women who upload pictures with themselves in it while also simping for women cosplaying.

Also the self-righteous attitude they have with their opinions. Hardly unique to imgur, but particularly bad there.

Imgur has a community?…

Imgur is reddit-like with it's own premium service lol it sucks

It's a case study in why not everything needs to be a fucking social media site

I posted a few of my things to Imgur, but I just keep everything hidden now.

I don't know why, but everyone seems to be really negative and aggressively judgemental over there.

I'm not sure if I just came across the wrong people, but they seem to take things far, far too seriously for what is essentially glorified cloud storage.

I wasnt even aware till now. Imgur just holds a hidden gallery of stuff for me. Lots of Kirby stuff amusingly.

Like a lot of people in the thread have mentioned already, I'm surprised that there's an Imgur community to begin with.
