You really have to plaster your fandom over everything? Sure, I like Freakazoid, and MST, maybe a little bit of Mario or Professor Layton, but that doesn't mean I go about inserting their names into everything.

Thank you, Meow. I know ponies are popular. And the show is obviously very good. It's not the show that's the problem. It's the fricken' fanbase making the whole thing look stupid. If most of the fandom would relax they would get a lot better credit.

For the record, I hate ponies. I fucking DESPISE ponies. Ponies are all over the internet, shitting all over everything they touch. And yet I fucking deal with it. I deal with it here on KYM. I deal with it on 4chan. I even deal with it irl. (Btw, these guys are actually pretty mean to me because I don't like the show. What happened to loving and tolerating?)

We do NOT need more ponies, especially not in such a classic series with a fanbase probably equally as large or even larger than the pony fandom, but who aren't as fucking loud and annoying about it. Spreading pony cancer to this would cause shitstorms of such epic proportions it is nearly unthinkable. Shitstorms of this magnitude will have never been seen before. The entire internet will be in turmoil. There will be raids, trolls, flaming, hacking and all other sorts of things a fanbase will do to a rival fanbase in a time of chaos. It will be an internet disaster.

Well, today I learned necroing threads for krama usually ends up backfiring and creating craziness worthy of the IRC. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

If this was thread was called "The Pokemon of the Ring" "The Twin Pokemon" or "Return of the Pokemon" the tides would almost turn almost 100% on who dislikes what and who likes what. It's just because you guys don't like what the others like. If it was what YOU liked then it wouldn't be a bad idea to you. What if say someone wanted to make a Zelda LoTR thing? I would think it would be interesting that someone would take the time to do that, but I probably wouldn't like it. Or with Scott Pilgrim. Cool ideas; bad endings.

Just get over your stupid feuding. And yes, I am a hypocrite with this because for some reason almost everyone in the fucking world loves Angry Birds, but I don't. I think the game is fun but the popularity of it is what's stupid to me. I've played Angry Birds so I can talk about it. You pony haters most likely haven't seen the show, so you have no right to talk. I've only watched the first episode, so I'm neutral.

And in all honesty, the people saying how ponies are the "cancer" of the internet, are more annoying than the pony fans themselves.
