This sounds like a job for a Pokémon General. There are three four recent threads up revolving around the same topic. (What pokémon would you be, a pokémon battle thread, pokemon generations, and this.)

I'm actually surprised we lack one really, we have some many pokemon fans on this site. So, are you going to make it? I'm not, the last time I made a general thread it died out and people kept posting in the other threads that preceded it.

I believe it was done in the past, but it was autolocked because of inactivity. But with the current topics, it can warrant a second try.

That's why I didn't lock it immediately. There are four related threads that have been posted in the past four days, so it could just be a small case of pokéfever. But they are generally redundant. (e.g., think of how well things would go if there were four pony threads.)
But this shouldn't keep up. There are various topics that a person could talk about in Pokémon (including Black 2 and White 2.) Several other threads could be made, and it shouldn't take up any significant percentage of new threads.
But yeah. I'll do that and feature it to keep it from being locked. I'll lock this one once I'm done.
