Whew..! That was kinda heavy! Now then…

LET'S GET DANGEROUS!

This post will detail most, if not all, plot-important thingies I and the rest of the team came up with. May add some things that I have yet to present. I would also like that one of you could do the same with stages, so we can review them without re-reading several comment threads.

Got it? If so, then let's jam.

1. The World

1.1 Genesis

In ages long ago… there was nothing but darkness, black as the abyss….
Then someone finally paid the electricity bill and lo, there was light.
From it, the Internet'verse came about – a place like no other, vast as the cosmos and as random and mysterious as a woman’s purse.
In it, there lies many realms, each one more weird than the other. No, seriously it’s f%ing weird.
Also, there’s a lot of cats. Why? Well how should I know, I’m just the narrator!
Anyways, one of those is known as KYM World, a land dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge from the vast reaches of the Internet'verse, about it culture, traditions and motives.
Oh, and it’s full of pastel horses and boob GIF’s but hey, nobody’s perfect.
It’s still was a mostly peaceful place. But, as always, shit hit the fan.

1.2 The Races of KYM World

The Users:

The "humanity" of the Internet'verse and the majority of population on KYM World. They come with many forms and shapes, from somewhat looking human to anthropomorphic beasts and cosmic entities. Then it gets weird.
They existence starts in form of a white protobeing, which derogatorily are called "NewFags. This states last but couple of minutes, before the User takes a far more unique, and often random, appearance, No one knows where the Protobeings truly come from nor where do they take the inspiration for their mature form, though there is a myth that they're inspirations of beings from another reality altogether. This has never been proven and it's laugh at by most prominent science circles of KYM World and beyond.
It should be noted however, that the shape and skill sets of an User can change with personal growth and experience. This my be a result of them possessing "The True Free Will", which allows them to define themselves as their wish. They are also mortal, thought a lifespan of Users may differ from person to person.

The Memes

If the User's can be considered humanity, then Memes would be akin to spirits and demons from folklore. They're beings that are born when a stream of light appears (no witness was ever able to confirm if it came from the ground or the sky) and from within a Meme emerges. Unlike Users, they are already adult and aware of their surroundings from the beginning. Memes are said to be second only to Caternals in being closest to the quintessence of the Internet'verse, as they are personifications of the cultures, trends and passions scattered thorough many realms. A such, however, they're not truly "alive", nor do they posses the "True Free Will" as the Users do. A Memes power, form and capabilities are defined by overall conception of them thorough the worlds of Internet'verse. This, in turn, gives them a form of immortality, rendering them un-killable. It's important to remember, that the Memes are aware of their lack of TFW and often resent the Users for it.
There are theories, however, that it would be possible to kill an Meme, by extracting it's Essential – the essence of a Meme, which holds it's existence together. It should be noted, however, that such process has never been completed successfully and currently it's status is nothing more than a fairy tale

The NewFags

As stated above, this the protoform of the Users. However, many of those have never reached maturity, remaing forever in their white forms. Some of them posses a level of awareness and intelligence close but never the same as an User, while some simply stand in one place, never moving. These "NewFags", as they have been come to be called, are ostracized by society and more often than not find their home in the Deadpool, either by choice or by deportation by the Moderators.

The Caternals

The demigods of the Internet'verse, Caternals are a cat-looking race (or a single being taking several forms, the opinions are a bit sketchy on this) which hold the position of being the most attuned to the Internet'verse to the point of being one with it. Caternals are, as far as many Users are concerned, gods worshiped thorough the cosmos. The power they hold is immense, in fact it only thru them that Userkind was able to spread their civilization, thanks to the Wiskir Powah(not around I know, but it's here for the sake of consitency), the natural energy source that powers everything and comes from the Caternals. They keep mostly to themselves, being mostly cosmic beings who just happen to look like giant house cats. They don't have a ruler or government, but currently it is presumed that a Caternal known as "Grumpy"
holds the most power among it brethren.

Aaaand there you have the first part of our look into the bizarre world of Know Your Movesets! Next time, we will take a look at prominent groups and people that reside on KYM World as well as it's geography! Just so you will know where you absolutely have to visit… and which places to avoid at all cost.

'Till next time! Confirm On!

I freakin love you for coming up with Pio. Also it turns out that I might not have been in that much of a hurry because a couple of things are slowing me down. But I still have to go to other places, whether I want to or not. Sorry for any confusion that I'm causing you guys about this.

K. Here's mine:
First: Satonaka Jacket with a white scarf (the jacket is blue and yellow)
Second: Back to the Future vest and goggles. The one Marty wore
Third: A male, Zangoose, less complex, no-shield version of

No. We already changed that. I meant the name of the game.

Know Your Moveset: Shut up and slap someone shit sideways gaiden Extreme edition.

I didn't know we were doing bad endings…I mean, it would imply that we're giving the player in-game choices. I originally though that we we're just gonna do a straight shot story.

I was just thinking it'd be a special "Game Over" if you lost against the final boss or something. Like in Chrono Trigger.

Geese Howard Air grab is going to be the end of me.

Here's a kind of necessary question:

What do we do when we're done?

Odds are we won't be done for a while. But when we are, we play it, finish playing it, see if people like it, pray to god nobody gets shipped with anybody or Tumblr-ized in general, then see if we have enough material for a squeal.

You forgot something…

From what I've gathered, my storyline will involve running into SmackerJack and looking for ImmaGoat. So where does Super Robo Jesus fit into all of this again?

RandomMan fights him. Alooooone.

Okay, back on topic. Let me explain what I'd like the A, B, C, D, and extra buttons to do in the game. Baby steps; We'll cover things like individual movesets after we're done talking about core game mechanics. Oh…and sorry for the late edit.

Directionals (Based on if you're facing right)
Left: Back the fuck up. Tap twice for backdash. Hold when being attacked for block. Press A at the right time when being hit for a guard counter; it works like a push block, but uses 25% Karma. Use wisely.
Right: Step up, son. Tap twice and hold on second tap for sprint. Some characters either have a dash or can only walk.
Up: Jump. Tap twice for double jump. Quickly tap down to up for super jump. Press left in the air for air block.
Down: Crouch. Press down & left. for crouching guard.

Normals
A: Light attack. Quick. Keep pressing for auto combo (rapid A-->light attack to 5-6 stage auto-combo.) Some characters have moves and command grabs that can't me combo'd into normally, so they're left out. Emerson, since you're multi-form, you have two sets of these…lucky bastard.
B: Medium attack. Medium speed.
C: Heavy attack. Slow. Down + C = Universal sweep for all characters.
D (Double C, CC): Charge Crush attack. Slower. Hold to charge. When fully charged, it grants ground bounce, heavy launch-->hard knockdown, wall bounce, and crumple, depending on the character.

Extra Buttons
L1 & R1: Assist button. Tap for assist attack. Hold for character switch.
L2: Universal launch button. Need I say more?
R2: Universal grab. Press the opposite direction of where you're facing to throw in the opposite direction.

Questions?

Why not A+B for grab?

Oh, and Select is taunt and Start is the menu button. Can't be forgetting that. Anyone have any questions?

What about light kick/punch?

Are special attacks going to be done by means of precise combinations, or will there be a certain button you can press while doing a specific combo to trigger a special attack? I think the latter could work insofar as it would be easier to pull off with a mouse/keyboard setup.

Specials will be done the traditional way; stick, d-pad, or directional button command + button press…Also, I'm a go ahead and use Numpad notation, okay? Quarter circle back or forward (214, 236), half circle back or forward (for some instant kills; 63214, 41236), double tap down (22), triple tap (for some instant kills; 222), and 360° back or forward (for one instant kill; 63214789, 698741236).

Note: Remember. If you're on the right side, the controls are reversed. I can't stress this enough. Is this okay?

And yes. You can use the number pad.
