so, tonight most likely, trough my twitch account im gonna download and stream a movie for everyone to watch, the movie will be decided trough a strawpoll, after the movie is decided i will be putting the movie up for stream on twitch at 6 PM (UTC-05:00).

The category of today will be comedy

I recommend you read the description of all movies, they are all very high rated comedy flicks. My personal recommendation is between In The Loop and Four Lions

Oh god, In The Loop is fucking fantastic. For anyone wondering, the main character swears like a fucking sailor and it's hilarious, prime material for KYM movie night.

I thought Twitch had a policy against things that weren't video games. Not saying we shouldn't do it, just informing.

this is true twitch is very tight on rules if anything, it would be against DMCA law to reproduce a downloaded movie on a site like twitch.

what i always thought about doing was downloading a movie, uploading it to youtube, and playing it on instasynch.

If we need another site Rabb.it works but I think there's a person limit.

hello yes, there was a problem with my pc, i had to get it repaired and it just arrived today

im still doing the movie.

i read about twitch policies, any report about the movies can of course get me banned, i could go trough with it but might search alternatives

so bad news, i might need to move this to tomorrow, video takes a long time to upload and since i didint had time to upload it before like i planned it would take an hour more to get it up, might go with haxor's idea and just upload it to youtube then instasynch it.

tomorrow at around 2 pm, same time zone, ill have the video on either livestream.com or youtube.

In case we ever do this again, I've got a couple suggestions for movies.

next movie stream will be by friday 7 pm, for now you guys can vote for the next category

should we continue with comedies? or go for action or drama ("adam sandler movies" and "seth rogen" movies are also valid categories)

also budgets: old movies, b-list movies, AAA stuff or all of them.

whichever are the categories i will pick the movies then let people vote.

I'd prefer to stick to comedy, maybe even a dark one. A fitting choice for KYM would be American Psycho.
