In another thread, Tikibar Mgmt. requested for a new avatar so I was happy to oblige and made one:

To be honest, that was the first time I've made something in that style. I was pretty proud of myself even though some things could be corrected about it (GOOD GAWD! Look at those arms!)

So anyways, long story short, I liked how it looked so I decided I'd do the rest of the KYM mods in this style and maybe the staff members if I feel like it.

If I'm done with every mod (and staff member) and still feel like doing more pieces in this style, I might start doing commissions for you guys, but ONLY after I'm done, so no favors for now. Sorry, but I just don't wanna be swamped with work.

So, without further ado, here's Mod # 2 on the list: Tomberry

BONUS FACT: The title is a reference to this old epic thread. It was the first thread to accumulate 100 forum posts.

Where'd you get the tonberry's cloth texture?

Sorry guys, but I'm only taking commissions only after I'm done with all the mods AND if I'm actually still in the mood to make these pieces. Rest assured though that if both requirements are good to go, it's gonna be first come, first serve.

So, without further ado, here's Mod # 3: Mellow

It's acceptable. My true love is Flash Animation… but it takes too long for me to care. I also enjoy photoshop over ms paint, but I never really draw in ps for whatever reason.

I've never actually drawn anything in Paint for the longest time. Too pixel-y for my taste. Photoshop is the way to go for me.

Yea, that's why I kinda don't like paint… but I've done some ok work in it. My PS work is so much better lol

Edit: also, lightning effects look FAR more amazing.

Question, though. Are you doing these based on the mod's IRL appearance (if you know what they look like) or their avatar? Do we get to pick?

Well, I'm basing these images on how the community usually perceives (or mostly perceived for the case of currently inactive members) the moderators. So, in the case of Captain Blubber and Tomberry, they're both associated with known images of certain video game characters, so I used those as base images. On the other hand, everybody knows what Mellow looks like, so I used her IRL looks to portray her (dressing her in her known attire). Though, regarding some mods (such as yourself), there really isn't a specific character or look your associated with. This being the case, sure you get to pick what you want to look like.

I think it'd be fun to draw interpretations of their usernames.

I see, I see. Yeah, I'm pretty amorphous here to most people. So could you draw me based on my IRL appearance, then?

And so here, ladies and gents, we have our beloved yet missing-in-action user, Mod # 4: Blah-tan

Now, this isn't really how I think Blah looks like in real life. This image instead is based on a mix of her older avatars, specifically one that depicts a moe anthropomorphization of one of the most classic FPS games, Counter Strike:

I chose to do this because Blah is one of the few mods who doesn't really have any specific image attributed to her. The fact that she's not often around, doesn't help either, so I can't do the alternative and ask her how she would like to be depicted in the pic.

So yeah, here she is. More mods to come soon!

Back from the 2-day hiatus, this thread comes back to provide Mod #6: Shadowfury

If you're wondering, yes, this is an artistic interpretation of everyone's favorite technological expert on KYM (dis-including Ellie, of course), Dayne Close aka Shadowfairy. Also, yes, he's using and wearing Android-related products in front of an Apple store. Sue me.

This piece took me a while to make because the info I needed to complete this wasn't provided immediately, so I'm truly sorry for the wait. I don't blame Shadowfury though. He's obviously as busy as ever moderating our beloved forums from trolls and internet backlash.

So, yeah. Mod 7's art will be on its way momentarily.

EDIT: Cripes! I just realized I made the left hand smaller than the right hand. Sorry 'bout that, Shadowfury.

Um… this thread, perhaps? These pieces are actually my first attempts at using my new tablet, to be honest. I don't have anything else except hand-drawn sketches of random stuff compiled from years of paper-wasting. :P

Aaahh, okay. Well, keep it up and eventually keep everything together someplace like DeviantArt or carbonmade or something! it's a lot of fun to see your work grow when you keep it all together in one spot :DD

Sorry, guys. Apparently, an unscheduled outdoor meal made this piece a little late.

Well, here it is anyways, my tardy next submission in the series, Mod # 7: Horseeater

First off, no, that is also not what the dude actually looks like. This is based on his current avatar (and scarily looks exactly like a substitute teacher at my school). The background is a reference to his old cheeseburger avatar and the concept is a literal translation of his name (as per his request).

Also, kudos to those of you who get the two meme references.

I also wanted to sneak Jack Black somewhere in the background but I realized I didn't do that for Tomberry so it would be unfair of me to do so.
