How, when, where, why??
I dun really keep up to date with the young'ins memes anymore, so I have very little to contribute, and the "shrek" keyword is annoying since results point to the movie usually. But i was hoping there would be people who do know.

I know this isn't new phenomena or anything, just very surprised you guys don't have an entry on it o_o

The whole phenomena also seems to have came in at a lot of different angles too: 4chan, videos, tumblrs, two separate catchphrases too, so it'd be interesting to cover as much ground as possible.

I really like this meme. It's got layers.

I've read some of those Shrek greentext stories and busted out laughing. Love those things. I just hope 9gag doesn't muck it up, because then it's all ogre.
