I've seen this making the rounds on Cheezburger and other sites lately.

The joke that I always like that stemmed from this is on "The Soup" when Joel would say "Oprah free gifts!" and shows a clip of her audience screaming.

It appeared on The Simpsons, didn't it?

The original clip from the Oprah show aired September 13th, 2004 although TIME says it was 9/14. Also TIME notes each person had to pay $7k in taxes or forfeit the car.

Yes, it did. If I remember, by which I mean a google search tells me, Marge had gone on to talk about her successful women-only chain of gyms (a spoof of Curves), and Opal (i.e. Oprah) started throwing out antique cuckoo clocks to the audience, shouting "YOU get a cuckoo clock! And YOU get a cuckoo clock!"

I'd say it's a fairly well-known catchphrase.

This phrase kind of reminded me of a scene from the Spongebob Squarepants episode "The Opposite Day":

"What kind of fool do you take me for? He is squidward, he is squidward, you are squidward, I am squidward. Are there any other squidwards I should know about?"
