iShowSpeed Phone GIF, also known as iShowSpeed Bored Looking at Phone or Speed Distracted by Phone, refers to a reaction GIF and meme of YouTuber and streamer iShowSpeed in which he visibly loses interest, turns his head and gets on his smartphone. Originating from a livestream in which iShowSpeed was approached by a self-described Zionist woman, the GIF saw use as a reaction and a caption format starting in late August 2024.
Origin
On August 16th, 2024, during his YouTube[1] livestream at a Fanatics Fest in New York, YouTuber and streamer iShowSpeed was approached by a Jewish woman who introduced herself as a Zionist, with iShowSpeed pursing his lips and turning his head away and getting on his phone after hearing her answer.

On August 16th, 2024, X[2] user @HalalSneako posted the clip of the exchange. The video (shown below) received over 320 reposts and 2,900 likes in three months. On August 17th, X[3] user @AICL1PZ shared the same video, with their post garnering over 34.5 million views in the same period.

On August 17th, X[4] user @kirawontmiss reposted the video with the caption, "do you know how annoying you gotta be to make speed make a face like that." The post received over 27,000 reposts and 385,000 likes in three months.
On August 18th, 2024, X[5] user @pvrekhs made the earliest found GIF caption meme based on the video, captioning the clip of iShowSpeed getting on this phone, "unfortunately this is me 5 minutes into a movie." The post (shown below) received over 4,900 reposts and 34,000 likes in three months.
In the following months, the GIF saw viral spread as a caption format, with multiple memes based on it going viral.
