The famous image often accompanied with the creepypasta, which predates the pasta by many years, is one of the greatest mysteries of the internet, it is famous all across the world yet no one truly knows the exact origin. Until now, it appears, because a user on /x/ recently discovered the true original image source, not unphotoshopped but an earlier version of it, uploaded in 2005!

With the more famous version posted 2 months later:

Also a third image which we have not yet found the source of, but we know to be legitimate as it has less edits from the original than the previous:

Only 2 things left to find are the original completely unphotoshopped image, and a separate image of "Jeff holding a chunk of flesh over a bathtub" which was widely circulated on the chans in 2006-2008 but has since been lost.

Oh yeah. The original was supposedly an image of some girl who'd commited suicide. I think the unedited one is somewhere on the entry's gallery.

That's been debunked. The original jeff the killer image (since it was made before the creepypasta, the original creator actually named him "White Powder") was uploaded in 2005, and the girl killed herself in 2008. It's completely unrelated, just an origin theory that was retold enough to be believed as fact. If you compare the image you're talking about with the actual image you'll see they're nowhere close, the backgrounds and poses are not the same.

Also, on the first link I posted in this thread's OP, the title of the image is "White Powder (part 2)" which basically means that the uploader posted a part 1 somewhere on the same website, we just haven't found it yet. "part 1" will either be an earlier photoshop or the completely unaltered photograph, either way it will be a great find.

One of the images, according to Paraturtle on 4plebs, claimed to be found on /b/ back in 2004-2005 by some girl asking if she was beautiful. Possibly three or four anons photoshopped her OP picture, turning it into the image we all know and love today as Jeff the Killer, (as seen on the screencap of the /x/ post here):

The possible original source of the Katy Robinson pic was posted back on a website called, “TrueChristian.com” with the original filename, “Sarcastibitchna.jpg.” Original upload: January 2, 2005. Archived on January 2006:

Found two more pictures of the girl:
