Edit: I'm reading at least "Muumi" in the letters, but I can't make a full sentence out of it. Then again, likewise am I reading "It was"; "Natsuru"; "Master".

No idea what to make of this. Either there's something else we need to do with those jumbled up letters or we're on the wrong track entirely.

I can make "Her name is" with twsummu leftover and "His name's" with etrwummu leftover. Anyone know anybody with just those letters?
