Um, so not even trying to joke and be like "literally who" but who was this guy even.

He tried advertising his videos here, got his thread locked, then tried advertising again and got banned.

college aged men post in a thread by a college aged guy about a middle aged man getting banned by a college aged man after his first thread was locked by another college aged man for trying to help college aged men with depression

We make depression, not fix it.

Yes …. "college aged" …

Also can I take the time to remind everyone that "Egal" and "Egla" are different things.

This guy is devoted to fighting depression and cyberbullying, whereas I am just a lowly bandwidth thief.

Im 34 mate. Not a child. I work for a living. This had nothing to do with that. Thanks for your time. Cheers!

Can we talk about like what the fuck even is this shit.

A 34 year man literally went out of his way to make a six minute video complaining about getting banned from a meme site. It sounds like a scene from The Simpsons but it's real, sadly.

(My reaction to his rant):

Yeah, I get he's trying to help people with depression, but this is a site for documenting and cataloging memes and things of a memetic nature. This is not a site for advertising his channel or his services, no matter how benevolent his intentions may be.

Also, good first impressions are damn important and he certainly accomplished that with flying colors…

And finally:
I'm surprised Morton hasn't contacted him about all of his salt. They'd pay him a fortune for it.

Did he just fucking brainfart when he was about to say depressed teens, and then just gave up and moved on? He must really care.

This guy is in for a wild ride. I've uploaded and saved copies of the face-rig videos, for future keks.

Alright. I've been a diamond as long as ive been formed. Before that I was in a kindergarten, you don't know what that is, well look it up. That's how long ive been dealing with gems and ruling home world. And I tell you, in all honesty this is the MOST UNREASONABLE IVE EVER BEEN TREATED BY A PARADOT IN MY ENTIRE 53,201,120 OF BEING A DIAMOND AUTHORITY and that's why im going to shatter you and I have full permission….and I..[rage intensifies]…[eyes pop out of face] i am just…[full on bitch face] COMPLETELY CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW WHEN I TELL YOU I WANT MY CLUSTER YOU GET BACK TO ME MONTHS LATER AND OVER AND THOUSANDS OF HOURS PAST ITS BEEN HALF A YEAR NOW WITH NOT EVEN A "YES MY DIAMOND" AND YOU CALL ME A CLOD IM ABOUT TO SHOW YOU IM SENDING RUBIES AND IMMA GIVE THEM A COUPLE MORE DAYS AND IF THEY DON'T RETURN BACK IM SENDING QUARTZ SOLDERS

He was a 4chan janitor??

This has to be parody, it has to be.

There's no way someone could have spent that long on 4chan and have this thin a skin.

My best guess is that he saw Norm of the North and it changed his life.

Anyone who's seen norm has had their life changed. A shame the general populace will never see this gem and ascend to the next plane.

Yeah he said BBS boards, not 4chan

He didn't "piss off" a mod, the mod just acted as he is expected to when users break site rules (in his case: advertising).

FYI, that's muffin.

The worst part about this is that he could have just applied a tiny bit of critical thinking and looked up the definition of advertising.

Advertising:
the act or practice of calling public attention to one's product, service, need, etc., especially by paid announcements in newspapers and magazines, over radio or television, on billboards, etc.:

A product is a "thing produced by labor" – it's literally anything made. Especially by, but not exclusively by paid announcements.

Advertisements:
A notice, such as a poster or a paid announcement in the print, broadcast, or electronic media, designed to attract public attention or patronage.

Money not needed – paying is one of the possibilities. It's there to attract attention.

Advertising:
the action of calling something to the attention of the public especially by paid announcements

Especially by, but not exclusively, again.

I can't find a single angle he can justify himself with.

Also… sorry to be a spoil sport, but we talked it over and came to the conclusion that it would be best if you all, like, don't go comment on his videos en masse. The first video, unsurprisingly, had a bunch of KYM users commenting on it. We do not want to make it look like KYM is brigading someone (again). Suspensions might be handed out if it happens.
