As ive said before the only good piece of pony art ive made was my pinkie pie head for my call of duty black ops emblam. However i get a sense of pride when i call in a killstreak and i see my pinkie pie emblam on a cupcake backround. Good times.

I have some talent in the art department. I've actually drawn an OC in one sitting. I still need a model or picture to get it perfectly right but if its an OC, give me a gender, a general overview and I could create a rough drawing. I don't have the resources to refine it but I can draw.

Ooh ooh! ME! I can draw any pony I've previously drawn without reference. Considering how much I have to draw per comic page I've learned to try to draw as efficiently and accurately as possible.

Alright, new topic/game:

List your favorite pony, and at least 5 reasons why she/he is da bess.

Also, @Karnage, that's a pretty decent job. Better than anything I could draw.

Everypony is my favorite, impossible to choose.

Mine would be rainbow dash because
1: Her personality is my own
2: She has a very competitive nature as do i
3: She literally lives life in the fast lane as do i
4: Theres really nothing that brings down her spirits
5: In my opinion she has her own brand of adorable.

As should be a surprise to nobody who's seen my posts, Rainbow Dash is my favorite.

Why? Let's count the reasons, in no particular order:

1: She kicked a freaking dragon in the face! That alone makes her the best!
2: She did the Sonic Rainboom – TWICE – and saved Rarity and the Wonderbolts with it the second time.
3: She managed to help the whole group get their cutie marks.
4: Rainbows Make Everything Better
5: She's an awesome singer! She sings friggin' rock music!

Not bad, not bad atoll, I'd like to know more about the character itself. That is, if you've decided to put any thought to it.

Is it a he or a she, cuz I notice they have the female nose, but no eyelashes and kind of a masculine name.

Why is Twilight my favorite pony (and perhaps Best Pony.)

Twilight Sparkle.

1. She's the personal student of The Princess Celestia of Equestria.
2. Episode 6, Boast Busters. a.) She didn't want to show up Trixie, but b.) when she did, she used multiple spells that manipulated large or multiple targets simultaneously to save Ponyville.
3. Her special talent is magic. If it is magic, she has a grasp of it. I mean, she straight up Mega Man-ed Rarity's gem finding spell. (True, her magic abilities aren't polished, but polish comes with time and experience. Raw talent can't be taught.)
4. She sounds like Timmy Turner sometimes. That's cool.
5. Pinkie said so. And Pinkie is my second-favorite.

But I actually just like her personality. She's plenty powerful, but she's just plain fun to watch be happy, be angry, and be dry.

How I became a brony?

My first experience with MLP was actually on this site. History learned me that it's not really rare for the internet to love rainbows and stuff. So after I noticed all the popularity, I gave MLP a shot. Before I knew it I was a brony.

Best Character?

Pinkie Pie. Why you ask?

1. She's awesome.
2. She's crazy.
3. She loves to party.
4. She can break the 4th wall.
5. She's threatening to turn me into cupcakes if I don't call her the best.

As for the new topic. I'm not really familiar with TvTropes besides the few links I get sent every now and then.

I've spent a lot of time looking at TVTropes' pages for Friendship is Magic, but I haven't been recently.
 
I like looking into the references that I may have missed in the show. It gives me a better idea of just how much effort the creators have put into the show, since I don't spend much time with many other forms of entertainment aside from a select few video games.
 
I'll have to throw it into my list of things to do before Season 2. (I miss the days when my only categories were "school" and "whatever I'm entertaining myself with at the time/ponies.")

How I Became a Brony…

After the mane page appeared in February, I didn't think much about the craze. When I finally became a member in May, I was warming up to it, mostly because of Doctor Whoof, but kept my distance nonetheless.

Then one day over the summer, I was sitting at home, doing internets, and I thought to myself, "Oh, what the hell, I'll give it a try." And so I watched the pilot. I wasn't completely enthralled (it's the pilot, no one gets hooked by watching just that). Over the next week, I watched the entire first season. I must've done at least four episodes a day, all the while thinking "I need to watch more!" I didn't think it was good or bad, I just needed more.

I think it was "Sonic Rainboom" that really did me in. Either that or the copious amounts of fan art I scrolled through on Saturday. Nevertheless, by the end of the week, I was in reading Equestria Daily, commenting here in Pony General, and I would soon join Steam's Brony Brotherhood. I had become, for better or worse, a full-fledged Brony. And I'm happier than I've ever been.

And that, fillies and gentlecolts, is how Equestria was made.

the one thing that sucks for TVTropes is that i have an account there, but i forgot the login stuff, and it says only 1 account on a computer

TVTropes was one of the websites I looked up before I started watching the MLP: FiM series, so that I can gain information about why it's such a popular cartoon. It also helped me learn the meaning of "Periphery Demographic."

How do you mean? Do u mean welcomed into the community or become a pony and live in Equestria? If you answer is the latter than sadly it is impossible, but we have the best science bronies on it.

Post them. Just post ponies and show love and tolerance.

Ah, I love the TVTropes Friendship is Magic page. I've always been fond of cast ensembles, and that site in particular gave me better insight as to how to look at the six main characters as a group. It's always fun to place and comparatively analyze characters based on how they how they work as a cohesive unit.

Gotta give credit to the people who created the MLP: FiM page. I did learn some valuable things about the contents in the show and the tropes that go along with it.

Can somepony find me a side view of a pegasus with folded wings? I need it for mah drawin'.

Oh, cool. I've gotten just about all my drawings on Drawfriend Stuff posts, but this one's the first header. Unfortunately the reaction from the people was kinda flat, since they rather go about the game, than the art itself. Yeah, the dialogue was bad, but that's why I used the original japanese dub, so that I wouldn't have to understand it. The subtitles are always the best option. Anyone familiar with anime and JRPG should know that.

I've also come to hate my Time Zone. Whenever I get here, everyone else is already asleep. Damn. Maybe I'll just talk to myself and answer to the question about the best pony. :forever alone:

1. Because she's simply adorkable.
2. Because she's absolutely the most fun to draw of the mane cast.
3. Because she single handedly (hoofedly?) redeemed the words "Twilight" and "Sparkle"
4. She's one of the greatest magicians in Equestria, and still botches every spell, so that we can have all those great fanfictions. Bookworm supports bookworms, even if she isn't real. (Inception?)
5. All in all. She's has a great personality, she's fun to watch, and don't forget that she has Spike as her sidekick.

And how did I become a brony? YOU DID THIS TO ME!!! Okay, seriously, I found out about the show here on KYM, back in late march. Then I just decided to see what the fuss was all about. I almost stopped on the first episodes, but Applebuck Season kept me going, Dragonshy gave the second boost, and finally Bridle Gossip sealed the deal. Then I just started drawing fanart (because I can), and suddenly my DeviantART activity increased by more than a tenfold. Plus, it was really refreshing to draw somehting different after 8 years of anime.

Fluttershy is clearly best pony because:

1. She's cute.
2. She loves nature
3. Chuck Norris' stare is NOTHING compared to Fluttershy's.
4. She can have a darkside, if you want her to. She can have a darkside to.
5. You do not face off against a manticore and a dragon and single handedly defeat them without instantly becoming the best pony. It's impossible.

Okay,here's a new idea for a discusiion, how did My Little Pony, a show that rivald Transformers, become basically the most famous show ever, while Transformers got Revenge of The Fallen, featuring someone from the G1 cartoons sucked?

As for best pony, it has to be Twilight.

• She's smarter than the rest of the mane 6 combined
• She's so awesome, she was picked to be Celestia's protege. That means she's practically royalty.
• She took on Nightmare Moon, the biggest threat to Equestria in 1000 years and WON
• She's the only character considered important enough to appear in every episode so far
• She's a powerful sorceress capable of defeating Ursa minors, teleporting, telekinesis, growing facial hair, summoning doors and turning ponies into potted plants.

I rest my case.
