Disappointing Dubs

As the title states, this thread is for anime dubs that you just found disappointing. Please, no comments like "all dubs are disappointing/bad."

I'll start, though I don't really have much to say.

Love, Chuunibyou, & Other Delusions: I wanted to like this dub. But…the voices weren't as good as I hoped for. Don't get me wrong: they weren't bad, but I still found them disappointing, especially Rikka's voice (though she was still cute). And I'm the kind of person who likes to watch dubs (though I don't mind watching subs).

Watamote: I wanted to like this dub too. However, Monica Rial (VA of Stocking from Panty & Stocking--possibly my favorite dub, Hyatt from Excel Saga, May from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Index from A Certain Magical Index, to name a few of her roles) as Tomoko wasn't very fitting. A shame, for I really like Monica Rial.
speaking of Index…

A Certain Magical Index: I haven't watched much of this anime (around 6-7 eps or so), but I thought the dub was alright. Then a friend told me about Accelerator's dub voice, so I decided to check it out for myself. My god, it was terrible. I can't remember it, but I don't want to listen to it again, for I know it was really bad. I haven't really gotten around to continuing Index (and probably won't for a while--not because of the dub, though, mainly due to lack of interest), but if I do, I'll definitely watch it subbed.

Steins;Gate: I haven't watched that much of this anime either (I'm a slow watcher), nor have I seen much of the dub, but from what I've heard, I consider the sub to be a lot better. Mayuri's dub voice is nowhere near as cute as the original (then again, she WAS voiced by Kana Hanazawa in the original, and she's known for her adorable voice), for one thing. Besides, Okabe didn't really do that crazy voice of his in the dub. Maybe I didn't watch enough of it, but still.

Love Hina had a meh dub (then again it was a meh anime, but that's another story). I can't really comment on how accurately translated the dub is since I've no knowledge of the series beyond the dub, but man, the voices really weren't good. Particularly Wendy Lee's character (she's a good VA, but I'm not fond of her voice work in this series).

From what I've seen of the JoJo OVA dub, it isn't particularly good either. The only exceptions would probably be Jotaro and Dio's VAs: they do decent jobs.

And that's all I've got for now. As a person who mainly watches dubs, these two (and several others that aren't off the top of head) seemed notably egregious.

One Piece. After hearing the atrocity committed by those above this post. Hearing that it was getting a new dub had me really excited. The mains they got down well, but all the side characters dubbing, they're all kinda flat and dull. Not to mention the translations sometimes are doing a bit too much to keep with the original script, to the point the dialogue comes off as clunky.

And the voice they gave whitebeard was really, really, bad. Like what I'd expect 4kids to have gone with tbh.

4Kids dubs are a pretty easy target for something like this (not that there's anything wrong with listing them here).
Besides, I'd like to see if there's any other dubs besides those that people were disappointed with.

Hm, I guess a bit of a short story, but the English dub for Higurashi was probably one of the worst I heard.

I mean, the characters sounded exactly like the originals, however they weren't allowed to use… well, you know. Emotional Inflection because the Japanese where so reserved.

It just disconnected me so hard I had to go watch the Japanese Dub.

I second this one. Every time the English characters laughed I wanted to die.

A bit of an update, I guess.

Shakugan no Shana-While I won't say the entire dub is bad, for as of writing I haven't watched enough of it to give a solid opinion of it, I'll admit that I was disappointed by Shana's voice. Back when I was a brony and getting more into/back into anime (I had watched anime as a kid, after all), I decided to watch the dub for season 1 of Shakugan no Shana, as I heard Tabitha St. Germain (Rarity, to all you fellow bronies) voiced Shana. It was quite a letdown, considering I was actually a bit excited about it. I heard the dub for seasons 2 and 3 were worse, but I haven't watched them, so I wouldn't know.
